If you’ve been on the internet at all over the last month, you probably heard about something called, “Unus Annus.” A KZbin channel created by Markiplier & CrankGameplays that uploaded every day for a year, only to delete all of it when the year was up.
I LOVED Unus Annus. And since the channel ended, I really wanted to make a video to pay my respects, attempt to capture what the year of Unus Annus was like, and...avoid facing the reality that it’s over. It’s time to LIVE IN DENIAL!

Unus Annus was my source of comfort during these trying times. I wasn't able to have a proper transition like a graduation ceremony, prom, or a proper goodbye to my friends from high school. I began late in February after my brother told me about it and surprised I haven't heard of it before. I remember watching their videos at night while eating pbj sandwich or cereal. It was one of my only constants. I got into college and at lunch would always watch their videos. I sadly wasn't able to buy merch or see the end of the live stream as it ended basically in the morning where I was. They always gave me a sense of hope, that I will get out of my current condition and live my own life of my own decision. It truly does feel like I had lost a friend, but seeing Mark and Ethan satisfied is enough.
