In this video, Dr Sam Ghosh provides an introduction to the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design through its characteristics, advantages, and limitations. The use of examples make it easy to understand for researchers and students at all levels. The advantages of having a pretest measurement and a control group together with the random allocation of participants is also discussed. The concepts of selection bias, maturation, history, testing, and regression to the mean is also explained.
