Been telling my wife my next vehicle will be a 2-3YO CPO LC500H or CPO Taycan. Just bought her a 2024 NX350H last month, $51k paid in full. So she can’t complain. My 2017 ES350 is getting a little boring. 😊

​@dude-yg9ez 220hp is more than enough for everyday driving, i know because i own one. At the same time, i wish we got the petrol only options here, especially the 350s. Lexus shot themselves in the foot with that, how did they expect to complete with bmw & audi when they only offered the hybrid and no other engine options while thd germans got 2L, 3L, diesel etc.

I have a 2017 Lexus RC 350 F sport that i just paid off and it's still a beauty to me especially when it's dark and i unlock the door and the lights illuminate inside and outside. 😍 This car is a beautiful even if it doesn't have the power of the Supra or BMW. In my opinion, as long as I have the power to speed when I need to or break when I need to avoid any accidents I'm good and definitely be comfortable in the car. And I do agree with you that $60k for this new car is probably not worth since there isn't much thay has changed with this car. Oh and with the two piece sun roof cover..yeah, my car has that too.😂

Can you comment on ride stiffness? I'm aiming for the RC-350 rather than the F-Sport for a few reasons, but one of them being the analog suspension versus electronic. I'm looking for comfort and have gotten the impression that the F-Sport suspension cannot get as plush as the 350 suspension, even in Comfort mode.

@@andydufresne8034 I believe mine have the electronic suspension or damping. When I drive in the normal setting, the ride for me is alittle rough. It's not going to be as smooth as the ES model when going over those cracks and bump on the road, however, when I drive it in the sport mode, my ride is smoother IMO.

Unfortunately it's unlikely that the RC will get a direct successor, however I think it would do very well. With styling similar to the facelifted IS and in interior reminiscent of their new SUVs, the RC could be even more amazing with just a parts bin refresh. I was always surprised they never made a convertible version as well. A low volume version of the convertible would post great competition for the Audi A5/S5 and bow 430i. It won't happen but it would do very well in my opinion

Got a 2015 rc 350 f sport recently had 20k miles in blue and black interior. Sure the updated screen would have been nice, but something about that old headlight design draws me to the earlier one. Well thank god mine was held by 2 people in beverly hills glad I drove the 4 hours for it.

I have a 2022 rc350 in the infra Red color with the Carmel and wood grain interior and I absolutely love it. Let me tell you I get sooo many compliments on this car. It looks amazing. When i bought it I never expected it to get as much attention as it does but it turned MY head when I saw it in the dealership showroom floor. I bought it brand new No Miles. I came there for the lc500 convertible but that would’ve costed 112k for the 2023 convertible. I had total sticker shock and went with the rc350. No regrets. It was 55k much less lol If you’re looking for a nice smooth everyday ride this is your car. If you’re looking a sport performance car this is not the one. It all depends on what you’re looking for.

It may be outdated in some ways, but ten years of kaizen make it possibly the most refined car on the road. My whole world revolves around building the fortune to buy an RC-F and RC-350 before they are discontinued. I think I want the 350's analog suspension over the F-Sport's electronic suspension for plush ride as a daily. There's a 350 in my neighborhood in black with chrome wheels that is drop-dead gorgeous. I prefer the chrome trim on the 350 over the greyed-out trim on the F-Sport, though that looks amazing on the F.

Good review! I have a '15 350 F-Sport, and it's been a joy to drive and own. Recently purchased an NX for my wife, and she still prefers the overall smoothness that the RC gives. However, I have to say for anyone considering one, do NOT get one brand new. In my opinion, it's not worth it. With more exciting vehicles in the lineup right now like the IS500 (and maybe a used LC if you can swing it), the RC makes much more sense as a used value proposition. First gen ('15-'18) can still be found for $35k and under if you look hard enough. And along with others, if Lexus is going to keep the RC in the lineup, it's due for a MAJOR overhaul. Almost no changes in 8 years is disappointing.

The RC 350 F Sport has four seats, Supra has only 2. Also, the LFA will be more expensive to maintain and only rear wheel drive. Only about 1% of car owners choose yellow as an exterior color. The naturally aspirated 6 cylinders will perform sufficiently on any highway against most cars. The Flare Yellow takes over 3 months to order, but it's well worth it, I get many positive comments on the road!

About the next gen RC, TRD president David Wilson did mentioned few months back that the “next gen Lexus GT3 car will be heavily inspired by GR GT3 Comcept” This doesn’t necessarily confirms that there will be 2nd gen RC coming but it does hint that they are still willing to put Lexus into GT3 racing, and hopefully have road car from it.

Between the two, I think the Supra is the better buy. I drove the RC F at the Lexus Performance Driving School and found it to be really heavy! The IS 500 is close in weight but seems lighter on its feet and is able to mask it better. I have not driven the RC 300/350 variants, but I suspect the dynamics will be the same. I agree, the styling is a Chef's Kiss, thanks for posting!

I get more looks at my RC350 AWD than a Porsche and it is so worth it, I would not buy a Supra ( it’s a Bimmer). The RC is misunderstood this is a GT and I am happy of the horsepower and the V6 is indestructible ,quality built , I Also own an ES350 that is 12 yrs old and runs as smooth as when I bought it… So yes buy this car before it disappears , so worth it !!

Supras a sportscar. Not a gt. The whole point of them is to be a track focused drivers car so they aren't gonna waste weight on comforts nearly as much as a RC anyway. Reliability is debatable since supras get put threw much more than what people do with RC's anyway.

@@Killerchihauhau it's been 4 years and they really don't have much problems so to speak. People track them,drag them, or use it as a back to back track daily and they run just fine. Been plenty of time and people running them ad hard as possible especially in both drag and track fields to death to the point to where they're a good pick of a chassis to use for track and don't have issues even driving home after doing lap after lap in them for a full day. People buy the supra specifically to mod it or as they're weekend car. It's not made to be a grocery getter. If your buying a supra for comfort, your looking at the wrong car then.

Oh i would love for them to upgrade the screen to a new super high res super black OLED, and if it were me as product planner id connect with some watch makers to make some classy, bezzels, so each trim would have its own bezzel crafted by X (id go Japanese) and maybe each year have a new custom bezzel just for the Insperation/Bespoke/Whiteperson ... you know what i mean. I still can believe that. 😂 but its not a big deal to Lexus to do that and it would be a huge deal to fans and owners.
