Wow! That was a lot of work but the end result was well worth it. Those black lamp shades on your chandelier looked amazing. I couldn’t see the vision of them on that particular fixture, but I had faith in you and you were right. Just beautiful. I really like the gold. The stripes and floral patterns make a very warm and snuggly vibe. One thing if I may…come more to the front of your canopy with those sheers and it will look fuller and hide the back where they are gathered . Just one or two more holes.. More swag if you get me. Love love love your bedroom. I’m 75 so definitely agree our beds are important for our wellbeing. I used to be on ladders all the time but my balance isn’t what it used to be and I get in trouble with my son if he or my daughter in law catch me on a ladder.😳 it’s still 105 here in southwest Texas but I’ve started gathering my fall decor hoping the temps will start going down. My home is still in demo mode so I’m staying in guest cabin til they rebuild and I can move back in. I’ve also been checking thrift stores, online and curbside’s for anything I can refurbish for my home. Of course I think that’s the most fun of the whole process. Be careful on the ladder but enjoy the process. Love and hugs.🙏🏻🙏🏻💗💗

So pretty! I made a half round cornice for my daughter's bed when she was in elem/middle school & it turned out perfectly. I used a thin piece of plywood, but after I was done, u couldn't tell it was wood. I just stapled the fabric on & what I didn't, I used velcro. It was definitely "Pretty Princess"!😉 I drilled sm holes in the top to put xmas lights in, so it looked like stars. She loves to read, so it was a great reading nook too. Since we were a military fam at the time & moved a lot, I always made sure my children had the bedrms they wanted. It was their "safe space", if needed. My son even had a desert camo themed rm. That was interesting to create! U are one busy lady. Sure wish I didn't have my back injury/issues so I could do more things that I loved doing. Oh well, I do what I can!

Wow. 🙆‍♀️You have been a busy little Mama Brooke 🐝 I was busy doing the same thing all week. Washed all my drapes and curtains. Changed up my bedding to fall time colors. I've been picking up cute fall decorations at Dollarrama. They are getting new quility things . Believe it or not they have really quality pillow cases. I tend to pick mine up there. I'm the same. I bought or buy new sheets. I have a king-size bed. The sheets and pillow cases are very reasonable prices at Canadian tire. I had no idea they had bedding. But I've been getting my sheets from there for many years now. 😊 they are so expensive elsewhere. And I order my comforters online. 👍 Dollarrama have really nice curtain tassel holders and the thing on the wall to tie them onto. I got some pretty pearly ones. They have a magnetic clip no need to tie. Look like big pearl necklaces. That above head design thing is very pretty. A big B. For Brooke. ❤you are so awesome on doing these things alone. I like the last picture on your screen, the turning. Beautiful. The leaf 🍃 🍂 🍁 🍃 🍂 blower was a very good investment for you. Your place is so beautiful inside and out. Like you. Very beautiful Brooke. I'm having my café Ole enjoying your company. And now I'm going to get busy finish cleaning the house and my balcony garden. You can also do the animated screens on youtube. I love the nature ones for each of the seasons. There are so many to chose from. Your bedroom is so pretty. 😊 Maybe those lightbulb shaped pins would work for your canopy. They are small enough that they might not be seen.

I love the concept of a french style crown canopy over the bed and using the sheers was a terrific idea, I just think you need to add another set for more visual weight. Even so, you are one very clever and resourceful lady and my hat's off to you!

Pretty drapes and linens!, I have an expensive bed too, your right, a bed is very important!!! I invested in an adjustable with massage options and an under light system so I have light to get into the bed for about 5 mins so I dont trip, it goes off by itself, I love that option. Plus if I call the company, they will come over and put new inner padding in once a year, so you always have a fresh bed, love that option too, WELL worth every penny I paid for it. (Lux)! My sheets are the cooling cotton from Egypt, just plain ones. Your bed looks beautiful! I have same colored sheets in gold, looks nice, everything is so pretty💝🪴🌹🫖

So glad you got the Columbine seeds!! You can scatter them now and water them in. You should see some babies later fall or you can save and scatter them in march. I just scratch them in and water. The nigella seeds can be scattered now or spring also. Good luck with the seeds. If they don’t germinate by late spring just let me know and I’ll send more earlier to you

Hi Brooke, you might want to paint your garden side table with Spar Varnish. It’s a wooden boat varnish and you might get years more wear out of your pretty cabinet. Maybe you could leave it in the yard as well, and not have to muscle it into the basement. Win-win…..❤️
