My back patio has a high wall because its somewhat below ground level and the other side is a small quiet parking lot and a little corner park. I get woken up every day by my neighbors. Ive got about 15 pigeons and 3 doves that come by every morning for breakfast and sit on my wall. The boys try making googoo eyes at the girls while i get their food and its such a nice way to start a day :)

@@hobbiesandcrafts2732 I'm sure you take care of her the best way you know how.. but if you had wings and could literally fly ANYWHERE you wanted at ANYTIME, could perch high up in the rainforest canopy and someone clipped your wings and stuck you indoors or in a tiny cage, how do you think you'd feel? Probably pretty betrayed, depressed and sad too. They can live as long as humans, that's a long time to go against your nature .. Do your parrot a kindness and give her over to a captive bird sanctuary so she can hopefully be released back into her natural habitat.

I just think it’s a beautiful thing when nature seeks us out for a friendship. I really like the way she interacted with the parrot 🦜. She had such tenderness and love for the bird right away and I believe the parrot knew that pretty quickly because they have formed a mutual love and trust with each other that it’s truly magical to watch. You kinda contradicted yourself there. You say Mithu is a male because male Alexandrine parakeets have the colored ring around their necks. That much is true. However, there very clearly isn't anything but green feathers around Mithu's neck, which would make Mithu female. I get what you're trying to say, but I think you got a little confused.
