Thanks Kimberly!! I also use Curology. I just started using the Maelove a few weeks ago. I was experiencing some skin sensitivity on my neck using the curiology, and putting a little of that on my eyes. Now I only put the curiology on my forehead cheeks nose chin. I use the maelove on my eye lids, just a tiny bit, and under eye and my neck. That is working much better. A note to new user's to maylove moonlight, do this every other day until your skin adjust. Otherwise you may experience the same sensitivity.

I would love to see a video of how to use the micro needle pen. I noticed you said just twice a week with derma roller. I've been using mine every night. Is that wrong? @destinyschild85153 жыл бұрын
She said once a week. Most influencers don't do it every night. I do it occasionally. When I am consistent once per week I have seen improvement. Consistently not frequency seems to be the key. My understanding is it needs time to heal. I am red for a day so I don't like doing it and I am not consistent. I cannot imagine how red I would be doing it daily.

I agree. I started using the Agency Tretinoin about 6 weeks ago and I cannot believe how much BETTER my skin looks at 69! It isn't just the appearance has improved but the texture as well....very smooth. As a nonsmoker, I started having prominent lip lines about a year ago and I have seen some improvement with this regimen. Additionally, I started using their Dark Spot Remover about 3 weeks ago. I was amazed after ONE application, my stubborn age spot on my cheek was dramatically lighter. I had used every product under the sun and simply gave up and tried, unsuccessfully, to cover it up. Agency is expensive for us retired ladies but when I think about how much I have spent on promised miracles for our skin, it is worth paying for something that works.

Thank you for the great ideas. I have very deep mouth lines and have been at a loss as to what to do. I've been using Curology for about two years, but just cancelled and am going to try a retinaldehyde instead. I find that I'm constantly flaking even using it twice a week. I bought a Dr Pen after watching Penn Smith use it. I have such a hard time with the pain. I put a numbing cream on, but even that doesn't work well. Perhaps I need to turn down the depth a bit (went with what Penny suggested) or maybe just focus on my mouth. If you're doing something different from what Penn does I'd love to see a demo. Great video. I’m on my 3rd week of using Curology Tretinoin, DIY Vitamin C and The Ordinary Niacinimide. Fortunately my skin tolerates all very well. My biggest issue is that adding these with a moisturizer and a sunscreen leave me over-moisturized. My skin is so shiny I have a hard time getting the more matte look that I prefer. I don’t mind it at bedtime, but it’s not good for daytime. I just ordered a different sunscreen, so hopefully that will help. Sometimes, I skip the moisturizer during the day.

Well I’ll be part of the 50 club on Sept. 9 so glad I came across this! I’m tired of seeing anti aging products on women in their 20’s and 30s. Or how to plump your lips on girls who already have bigger lips. I do use a lot of South Korean and Japanese products. A lot of quality ingredients for half the price. And you DO feel a difference. Of course I also remember using Max Factor pancake makeup in high school as well…..loved that product. Use a little on a real sponge with water and light coverage. I am a little confused - I thought dermarolling and microneedling were the same… but you dermaroll once a week and microneedle once a month…what is the difference (other than the tool)?
@jovickers53133 жыл бұрын
Lene Skov, I believe the Dr Pen needles go straight in and therefore more effective, the derma roller needles apparently go in at a slight angle therefore not as effective as the pen. That's what I've seen on KZbin anyway😁👍
@juliewatt19513 жыл бұрын
This was my only criticism of the video - there wasn’t a clear distinction between dermarolling and the Dr Pen. Looking at the depths Kimberly uses with the pen, it looks like she is using that for what is called medical Microneedling i.e depths/needle lengths of 0.5 or more. The dermarolling at 0.25/0.3 is cosmetic Microneedling. It’s possible to cosmetically needle using a pen as it’s adjustable for depths from 0 - 1.5/2 in 0.25 increments
