K.C. this is straight up awesome!! I believe the chromatic looping you give provides the structure or base for us to easily grasp and understand this great God given concept. Also, once you explain how it works with the melody and to look for a common relationship between the 2 notes, somehow choosing the inner notes to complete the chord becomes exciting. It’s exciting because mentally I can choose what may be a “logical” harmonic choice or I can choose to “follow my ear”! This is Pretty Incredible !!! I will be using this concept in my practicing and playing to help open my “ears” to “phat” “rich” and new harmonic “flavors” and “colors”. May God continue to bless you in your purpose!! Once again, KC---Killin' it man! I've actually decided to take a break from ongoing music practicing as a way of surrendering my time to God as sometimes I believe I invested more time in music than I did in Him.. Sometimes even the gifts can be a distraction from the Gift giver. I’d probably put the suspended so for example: D/FBbCF, but instead of the last F, I’d have it as Eb. So, that’s D/FBbCEb, or expanded its DBbC/FBbCEb You killed this video too. Love this and the variations. I’m interested in the piano sound you used in this one too. Much thanks!!!
