As most of the coments say, this looks like a stunning kit. hopefully this will be a start for more 16th scale kits of the what smaler tanks (like panzer 2 or sovjet T-26 or other tankkets)

I believe this bad boy is gonna be our "Generations" 1/25 Tiger 1 that Tamiya made back when we were youngsters. I do really like this kit and I'm not a huge tank guy but have been know to build one every now and again. But this one will make it in my stash for sure.

Great kit! Great approach to the interior pieces! Excellent price! Like 200 scale ships, this is the "new" frontier of armor modeling. Us older guys with fumbling hands and fading eyesight certainly appreciate it! Hopefully, Das Werk, or Takom will produce a Afrika Korps Panzer 3G. Love those L/42 tanks! Thanks Andy! I have quite a number of 1/16 scale Trumpeteer tanks and AFV's and building the full interior isn't always what I want since most of the time it sits on a shelf and is covered. Great job in this AFV Das Werk.

Freakin' awesome! I have been saying that (a) for the last few years that the 1/35 AFV market is saturated with companies, meaning we end up with 5 different 1/35 Panther A's being released by various manufacturers in the same year, countless 1/35 Tiger I kits being released in the same year, etc., etc...and (b) I've been saying that it would be fantastic if at least one company started making 1/24 or 1/16 scale versions of all the great kits that have been released in 1/35 over the last 5 - 8 years. Given the impressive molding quality we see on many manufacturers' 1/35 scale kits, I can only imagine what could be done at 1/24th or 1/16th scale. Finally, having more 1/16 scale kits it would make building interiors for WWII AFVs far less frustrating & the interior details will be much easier to see (in good light) through the larger hatches (especially for old toots like me! lol). I am crossing my fingers that this will be the first of many 1/16 scale kits from Das Werk!

I don't build too many large kits because of shelf space, but this looks really nice. I have a Heng Long r/c Panzer III, so I know that the relative size of this won't be too unmanageable. Like you said, it should fit on a shelf nicely... tempting...

That's an amazing price. When you were talking "affordable" in the beginning of the video I was guessing "sub $200" as being affordable. I'm in no way interested in getting one, I'm a small scale (1/72) armor guy but I can certainly appreciate the detail in this kit. The nut and bolt detail is IMPRESSIVE.
