Tell me honestly guys. What wrong has Washy done as a batter ? We all know his more than useful contributions last time when we won at Gabba. My personal opinion, he has a far better technique and should be groomed as your No:3 . He should be groomed to do the Pujara role and he has a far better technique than your hyped big players. Let him play 100 balls and get some 25 runs to begin with. He is capable of doing much better than this. If Lyon is playing for Oz team in the 11, I don't see any reason why Ashwin should not play in the 11 and also given that Oz team has 3 southpaws.
