I just discovered negative painting with watercolour. I'm loving it! I'm starting simple with basic layered buildings. Your paintings are very beautiful and inspiring! Thank you!

This is O so inspiring! I love the way watercolor can almost do the painting for you and I feel this gets lost often when trying to be too realistic. I so long for this ethereal touch in my own paintings. I will add you to my muse file. Thanks!

Thank you! Great video even if just for the color tip. I used to make that mistake and then wonder why it didn't work. I'll definitely try this method of wet-on-wet layering out soon enough.

I purchased this video and it's wonderful I just wish you could have gone into more detail with the pink berries the way you did the leaves. I guess the leaves were more difficult. Anyway, it looks like I have a lot of fun ahead of me. Thank you for making your videos.

Could a beginner try this technique with any success? What type of a photo or subject would be good to start with? Really has my brain going....( I do art journaling with mixed media, so I was intrigued with this..especially when you stated that watercolor doesn't always have to be used in thin layers) Love this! TFS

I have bristol paper and am wondering if that would be alright to do a bit of watercoloring on, or will it not be able to withstand? I'm eager to get back into painting but it's been so long since I've done it.

Linda: While painting away from the edge of selected object how do we choose the colors we paint at various part of the edge? And how far do we paint the same color? Don't we need to be mindful of the surrounding objects, their shapes and colors while painting away from an edge of a selected object, particularly for the realistic or near realistic paintings (perhaps even for abstract paintings)?

There is one point where the vid skips forward and there is this beautiful airbrush look on the paper how did you achieve that with the watercolour?

Hi I"m trying to contact the site (artistnetworktv) but contact details are not valid. I have absolutely no way to contact you, that's why I'm writing here. I've purchased Linda Kemp's watercolor vid (literally just now) and I'm not happy with it. The vid was misleading. The presented painting was not included in the tutorial, it was shown as a sample work (at the end). Can I please get a refund? Or at least provide me with an email? Kind Regards

"I'm knocking a little bit of turquoise in... Just because I can" "It's of course on a non-porous surface so the painting is really stewing in it's own juices" "I can absolutely use these colors anywhere in this painting and I won't run into any problems" this woman is drunk with power someone stop her

Linda Kemp is such a pro, but these videos are brutal. Seriously, whoever is dropping in the language tags really needs to know how to spell. It detracts from the professionalism. As a professional, I would never accept anything less.
@CoxJoxSox7 жыл бұрын
Good advice - u must just cringe at all these bids where people keep dropping in a zillion colors all over the place
@gitogal8 жыл бұрын
why isnt it taped down ur paper is buckling all over and u cant really fix that. please people tape your paper down so it doesnt buckle and warp from the water and be sure to dry it out in the sun before u take the tape off
@TheKuldi8 жыл бұрын
It didnt buckle while wet because it was held down by the water itself due to the amount of water and the plastic surface it was laid on. And if you have a paper that's dried and it buckles, you can iron it with a dry towel on top, it smooths it out just nice :)

Fairly sure she knows what she is doing. I do not stretch my paper either
