Once again, great video! Also, it should come as no surprise that there is so much interest in the early '70s and up Japanese bikes. These are the bikes that most of us collectors grew up with, and are still in our hearts. A generation before us would have been looking almost exclusively at Harley's and British bikes. Personally, I could walk past three rows of antique Harleys and not even glance at them, but then stop dead in my tracks at the site of a 1977 Yamaha RD400!

I did the same thing. I actually missed a lot of the antique Harleys and went back for them, which might be part of another video.

Thanks for all the videos sir! Glad I went to the museum last summer before they closed for good. Arguably the best and biggest motorcycle museum this side of the world (well, it was). At the 13:37 mark, I believe that Curtis sold at auction for $195,000.

Man, John had such an awesome collection! Dont forget back in the early 2000s Kawasaki also made an Indian replica called the Drifter sold in both 800cc and 1500cc versions
