Looks like a beautifully crafted jet. Probably the best inside and out. The only reservation one could have is the range. 4500 nm with only 4 passengers. That is not really enough. If they could get the range well over 5000nm with 8 passengers at around the price they are talking about, they'd really shake up the market.

If I was going to buy a jet in this price range, the 4500 nm is a Big red flag for me. I can think of a few things that I would give up to get better mileage. 👍🙂

The Embraer 1000 has the same range but probably twice the space. And a second one is probably less than that of a new Hemisphere jet. "Depending on numerous factors, the average price for a pre-owned EMBRAER Lineage 1000 is $26,696,250.00"

I hope Textron gets their act together and produces the Hemisphere with a minimum 6000nm range and an LRC of M.90 to compete with Gulfstream, Bombardier and Dassault.

I think for it being 10 million dollars cheaper than Gulfstream, it’s a good deal. Plus, I’m not very good with sitting in a tight space for long, so either way, I’m gonna have to stop in the middle and get and take a breather. Think about it, 10 million cheaper for just 1 hour less of flying.

Come on MEGA,I would rent one. I have flown in a Cessna Citation 2 and I loved it,although my trips were short(Tucson to San Diego) but I felt like a millionaire for an hour flying in a company jet.

This business jet program has been suspended by Textron. They say problems with the engine development being so far behind schedule is the reason.

Yeah, I think it's too expensive for the performance too. It's only 10M cheaper than a G500. Only reason to buy this is for the new aircraft writeoff. Otherwise get a used 550.

for 35M I think 4500nm is enough.. what I think is G500 with its price 43,5M for 5200nm range is too expensive.. come on, for 8.5M cheaper you just loss 700nm range which is only an hour flight tho.. so id rather loss 1 hour flight and save 8.5M with the same cabin configuration and pax.

Don't get me wrong. It's a compelling plane and I hope they do well with it. BUT It only seats 12 and I'd swear it's several inches lower in headroom. No way I'd take this over a G500. I'd just get a used G550 and have 1000 more miles.

In the last period of time (since 2007) Cessna has promised a lot, but has achieved too little. Projects such as Columbus and Hemisphere have remained simple computerized video presentations. Even their only success, Citation X, was stopped. I used to be an avid Cessna fan, now ... I prefer EMBRAER.
