Dave Filoni has this magical gift of making very relatable, humanized characters. This episode hit some unexpected feelings and I'm not sorry for it. I honestly wasn't expecting to like the Baddest of the Dads Batch as much as I do, but I look forward to Friday's for it! That twist with Omega... Yaaaasss, interested to see how that one develops. Don't worry Adam, I'm a Fennec apologist too. She's just so rad; but I was really pumped last week when we heard Cad Bane's voice from the shadows. Awesome to see him back too! Love the H.G. Giger look of this city saw it in the trailer that shot of Fennec Shand but never knew it was a Kaminoan city i imagine they just have some different designs depending on the planet or maybe these designs just stood out a lot more being dilapidated almost ancient looking. No doubt Boba will show up in this show looking for Omega she's the closest he has to a sibling family was very important between Jango and Boba even if Fett himself didn't see the other Clone as brothers Omega is a different story. Fennec Shand knows why Omega is so important so i imagine this info could get past to Boba. If Fennec did save Omega maybe in the next episodes then i could see this being the reason Fett saved Fennec in the Mandalorian they have a history no doubt about it just wondering if we'll see it in this show.

Oh, I've been thinking that they would bring Cad Bane back for Book of Boba Fett for a while. Then with this whole Omega arc and now with Fennec ruining his day it makes a bunch of sense to use him as an antagonist. That is assuming that he makes it out of this series alive. I sort of expect young Boba to show up at some point so a Boba/Cad final showdown could take place in this show as well. One thing that you may have missed (because I did) is that Cad has a weird patch on his head armor. The running assumption is that was the spot that Boba shot him in his showdown that they wrote but never put out. So if that is true there will need to be a resolution to that situation in this series or in BoBF.

Boba's helmet has the dent during The Clone Wars. So either that bit of news or the dent in TCW is the mistake. Actually, Jango's helmet gets a dent in the same place during his fight with Obi-wan, so the continuity of that dent is a mess.

If she came under the tutelage of Darth Maul, during the time around The Bad Batch, and then was somehow unintentionally separated from him, leaving him to pine for another apprentice, which would explain his interest in Ezra Bridger, it could be possible, that, if/when she returns, she could be running a gang of the remains of that crime syndicate. Plus, Prince Xizor's Niece may very well be the one running Black Sun, long after the events of Shadows of The Empire, which is in the time of The Mandalorian. Even if it ends up being former members of Crimson Dawn working for Talon, that would be enough. George Lucas' original intent was for the various crime syndicates to play a role in the unrest, intrigue, and significance of The Sequel Trilogy.

Unfortunately for Bane, there is a chance he may not make it to the Book of Boba unless he pulls a Maul. There is unused footage of Bane and Boba having a stand off during the clone wars which, if they still intend to use it, will most likely show up in Bad Batch...where Bane will most likely meet his end making the blast mark on Boba's helmet.

I was right about alpha and omega and I think I know exactly where the story is going. Filoni is weaving a web such that it has never been done before. I am telling you that was the literal book that will come to be so important. Finnic is going to be the lynch pin that will bring boba and omega together. the batch dies protecting her while she escapes Camino after they go back to save her surrogate mother and free the last of the clones. Finnic will promise look after her and train her.
