dashizwiz should not be banned for his religious beliefs if he is not causing problems because of them at smash events and in smash forums, if he is only being attacked for expressing his beliefs on his own time and responding to those attacks, it is wrong and discriminatory towards his religion and religion in general to act like he needs to "change his opinion" instead of just treating people in the smash community with respect

People can express their beliefs, but there should be no distinction between religious beliefs and nonreligious beliefs. It's not discrimination just because he puts some #faith behind his opinions. Everyone has opinions, just because someone says it's their religion doesn't give them a free pass to be shielded from what others think of that opinion. It honestly shouldn't even be a part of the conversation because it's irrelevant. I could easily say that what I am expressing now is my religious belief ordained by God and it doesn't change the content of the thought at all.

He was actively homophobic and transphobic and even if his religion encourages things like that, he knew what he was doing and that it was bad and still did it. You can be religious and not hate crime people which is kind of insane to have to say. Even in his statement he was still doing what he was banned for. It doesn’t matter if he thinks like that he chose to do hateful acts towards lgbt people and got banned.

As far as I'm aware, Shiz's banning from an online tournament was over a tweet from 2019 stating his stance on homosexuals and transexuals. I have yet to hear him actually harassing or bullying anyone. When you think about it from a debate perspective, both his videos are from the defensive and he has yet to go out of his way to 'harm' anyone. It was also from an online tournament, so there was never any real threats to be taken into consideration despite that being the reason
