You'll want to have the specific kit for the gel preparation as well as the heater and cooler unit. When you get all 3 components the instructions come with it!

Tried it. The results are very minimal after the initial swelling wears off and it doesn’t really last. Going for the second session since it’s paid for but not impressed so far (a month after first session).

Your provider should have explained the process. You need 3 treatments total. One a month for 3 months. Hopefully, that's what they sold you? The gel provides immediate results, but they're temporary. The real benefit is the platelet-rich fibrin that begins generating your own brand new tissue. The process to generate new collagen takes 3 - 4 months depending on the patient.

Update: Had my second and do notice more improvement so I’m gonna go for a third session one month out. My under eye looks improved but not fixed like with filler - troughs are just a bit plumped and more filled in.

@@duchessdelarue5983 Are you getting PRF EZ Gel, or just regular PRF? Regular PRF is liquid, so you would need a lot more of it unlike EZ Gel which stays in your face for 3 months, or so that's what it's said to do. It gives you that nice immediate volume that also should stay around for a while. Also, for me, I will make sure that the provider is using a tube that is not silica coated and doesn't have any other additives. Some of these tubes will say they have no additives, yet some are still silica coated on the inside. You can check to see if there is silica in them by adding some water and shaking. If it foams, it's coated with silica on the inside of the tube, and you don't want silica in it.

I have also heard that it looks great at first, but can be quickly absorbed by some people, and needs frequent touch ups. Sounds expensive and like the product still needs to be perfected.

Why do you have to heat the PRF.....as PRF will get thicker on it's own???

That is the protocol. If the PRF sits for too long it will be too thick and cant be pushed thru the needle.

The actual prf isn't heated, what's heated is ppp (platelet poor plasma) the prf is then mixed into the cooled & gelled ppp. The heat would destroy the beneficial parts in the prf.
