What a BRILLIANT concept - there is nothing else out there that comes even close to providing such an extraordinarily thorough break-down of what is self-evidently the optimal analytical thought process. BRAVO!

Poker Outloud is the, HANDS DOWN, best poker analysis vids ever made. Production is top notch too. Kudos to all those involved - players, dealer, video guys, post production and just the idea that made this to begin with.

Gl folding hands like this to a single flop bet as a 3-better at these stakes
@philzhang79785 жыл бұрын
Yes. Literally got destroyed by his "student." His flop, turn, and river logic completely contradict themselves; cognitive dissonance, literally just him tilting/ego/justifying bad call downs because he doesn't want to lose vs his student. I have no idea why these "students" decide to learn from berkey. Price, chris, and fausto all seem to be pretty strong live players, although they probably lack more in depth theory knowledge. However, s4y is not a place that you hope to learn theory from...

Would 4 betting the kq off from the big be a better option as we block some big holdings?
@Dbgreene4 жыл бұрын
I think it is reasonable to four-bet here. Especially with kqo, the one thing is that its kind of a middle hand, where if you four bet you’re folding out everything worse and possibly getting called by everything better

Berkey knows that he should be underweighting the suited club combos but he gives them equal weight to the value hands and comes out to 3-to-1 combos of value to bluffs, but due to how infrequently Price is probably cold calling those suited club combos PF, it should be more like 6-to-1 or higher.

Sizing is interesting Berkey with a10 off... 6 x? I doubt you’d do that with aa/kk/qq ect...? Seems like 130/140 would seem bit more standard. Also invites more resteals from the bb or bu with smaller sizing. 6 x really thins out his range.
@PhilBot4OOO5 жыл бұрын
Also it ain't 6x at all. It's 40-->175. 4.3ish!! Pretty standard in a deep cash game.
@Cowtymsmiesznego5 жыл бұрын
@@PhilBot4OOO The graphics showed that the open was to 30? 40 -> 175 would be quite standard indeed, but 30 -> 175 is definitely on the large side.
