Extremely helpful and a much needed reality check - thank you. I’m guilty of trying to recoup what I’ve spent particularly on items from my own closet. As expensive as they are(sometimes $100-$200 or more) , I know there is a possibility they won’t sell on the higher side if they are slightly used. New with tags is a better probability of possible getting a full-priced top dollar sale especially if the item is a rarity. Love your channel. Please keep sharing these amazing tips.

Thank you - appreciate that! People are looking for a deal so full price sales for the resale price do happen but its very rare for a full retail price sale on a used item - unless like you said rare or highly in demand or perhaps vintage.

Great info, tell me about listing the original price. I did my first listing just now and put Zero in the original price. Is that ok? Thank you for such valuable information. Nervous but first one done and ready to list another 9 items today!!!

Awesome! You can put the $0 in for original or you can look up an estimated value, it doesn't really matter. If its easy to look up and an item that I like to list like a Torrid Dress then I will look it up because I can use it again and again without looking up again. You got this!

LOL, yes I know and I'm sorry about that. I recorded my screen as I was doing it and I recorded myself from my phone and I was going to be a super fancy video editing KZbinr and put them together but if you didn't know in case you are new to my channel - I'm super terrible at tech things and so I guess it was a bit of an overreach to think I could actually make this work. I'm a stay at home mom and my little guy is home for the summer so my amount of time for things these days is limited. I definitely try to get better but I can't ever do all the cool video things I want to. I do plan since people have commented to do a pricing video with examples and that will be a screen share so stay tuned.

loved the video but I wish you would have shown the screen so we could see exactly where you click. I am still trying to figure out how to check for items sold on the particular items I am researching when checking comps. It could be confusing when you are a beginner. I usually go to Shop and search for an item and see what they are listed for but I don't see a button to click for Sold. Anyway, thanks for all the good information you put out. I have learned a great deal from watching your videos.

Hey:) i'm curious how your two for 50 Zara pricing strategy works for you? I'm assuming it works well since you're doing it :-) I perused your closet because I'm adding some Zara to mine and feeling unsure on how to price. Especially since it is secondhand. I use your other tools like the waterfall strategy, so I tend to Price on the higher end initially.

So once I have it setup I don't need to do anything else and people will use it from time to time. I wouldn't say its wildly successful but its another tool in my tool box to make sales. I would say maybe 3-5 times per month I get a sale this way. I love selling Zara but I don't sell every peice. I'm super selective.

I like to quickly check comps on my phone on Poshmark if I'm at the thrift store and on Poshmark on the computer when I'm listing and need to decide a price.

Look up a recent new item similar and include an estimated retail price or just put $0

Hello! Thanks for watching! Yes I try really hard to put an estimated original price in as much as possible because I think it does give a psychological effect of a better deal when they see the discount.
