We (my team) got accused of cheating a few times because we used what one of our guys referred to as the "Elven Cloak of Invisibility" - we went prone. The complaint was that it made us harder to hit. In another game, we got accused of cheating because we had a guy in a watch tower who could see where the opposing team was advancing from, and we shifted our forces to counter them. So apparently we "cheated" by using actual tactics, and playing as an infantry section as opposed to a group of individuals.

These are the kinds of players I hate seeing in videos. They are bad at the GAME and fail to realise if it was a real war/battle they would be dead and not able to whine like babies "Stop cheating! Where I play/work 15 and under are required to have full face mask whether it's a paintball mask or goggles and a mesh bottom. However if you're older than 15 you are only required to wear full seal eyepro

I try not to aim for the head if I can. And I always wear a mouth mask because I smile too much and don't want to lose my teeth. I never really care about where I get shot, or how often, it's all part of the game.

Etiquette when it comes to other players: When you have a player who doesn't call their hits try to talk it out. Most of the time they didn't actually feel it. For those who don't use face protection, explain to them the importance of teeth, they'll figure out what your getting at. If a player is raging, try not to rile them up let them calm down. If it's not your problem to deal with you'll probably piss them off by interjecting into it. Be fair, be honest, play safe.

I have the fair share of them at my paintball field (playing recball/recreationally). One guy always rage quits at some point when things don't do his way and everyone else is using anything but a Magfed marker. A lot of players use "space guns/speedball guns" as we are a competitive bunch that will go down with a fight. This guy is always at a disadvantage to begin with, so he has to play smarter. You probably guessed it, he doesn't. If I shoot a spacegun or semi, I put minimum 3 down range. Reasons being: they might miss, they might bounce (not break and leave paint), I just have a better chance at getting that player out. I expect anyone else to put more than one at me because of the same premise. This player also has a spacegun, but lacks skill altogether, so he still gets shot and complains that we're "all ramping*" or that "teams aren't fair". (Ramping*: It's a firing mode with electronic markers that is usually consisted of: 1 shot, 1 shot, 3 shot (within a certain delay), and the 3 shot continues if you continue pulling the trigger in rapid succession.) Some of the player that he gets mad about are simply shooting semi, or even playing pump (you have to cock the gun in between every shot), but even pump players can get a good 2 or 3 out quickly if they have a smooth system. This guy thinks he's better than he is and he refuses to adapt his gameplay accordingly. A lot of times it makes me laugh, because I think he's just intimidated by the fact that a lot of people are simply better than him because they try to be better.

Bit different when sniping. I get why he goes for the head as 90% of the time in his vids no one calls hits. So I'd shoot them in the face too and I have done plenty of times before and I will carry on doing so. Till people play properly

Update: I found a pretty good pistol off amazon. It’s the gfap13 (horrid name) but it shoots at 250fps and normally uses 12g bbs. Thank you for all of your suggestions, I will regularly update on this comment.

I would recommend getting a gun off of Evike.com Good starter guns range from $100-$200. The up front cost of airsoft is expensive and then once you have gear it's only the field cost

I've played very little airsoft and paintball, (something I hope to change as I get a bit older, 19 currently) but in one of my first paintball games I made the mistake of lifting my mask mid game. A pellet had struck my mask, so I recoiled back and stupidly lifted my paint covered mask away and off my face. However, a second pellet was fired up under my now lifted mask and paint got in my nose, mouth and streaked across my whole face,as the second pellet had struck and exploded on my left temple... Point being, wear a mask at all times in firearm simulation sports like airsoft and paintball, because the second you dont is when you open yourself to losing an eye, or, in my case, a giant egg sized bruise on your face and paint that takes a few days to wash off tour face completely. Still, just not worth it, and with airsoft bbq's that can go into eyes, noses, ears, mouths, and faces, wearing a mask is simply always worth it because as Fox said, airsoft and such are unpredictable. Also, I'm banned from that paintball field now, so yeah, not only could there be painful consequences, but some places an fields may not allow you to ever come back.

hey man love the video and yes I did have a rage quit tom at one of the indoor arenas I go to he would get hit and not keep his hand up until he got back to his spawn but everytime he would get hit you could hear his shouting from the other side of the arena very funny. We have a guy on our field who always rage quits and makes a huge deal about getting "overshot" (taking more than 1 bbs in quick succession) I'll admit i might've made him quit once because I thought he was revived from the way he was pointing out enemy locations to his teammates but always leaves the long game early and acting confrontational.

I aim at the torso and limbs most of the time when i play airsoft. The only time i aim for the head is when that is the only part of the player i can see and if i can tell they don't have lower face protection, i refrain from shooting them in the face and instead shoot at the piece of cover they're hiding behind to force them to either hide or expose some other part of their body.

I didn’t have a rage quit Tom. What I did had was the Nosvercth sniper, and he was good! He would relocate everytime the same enemies respawn. He actually caused some people to rage quit! Lol. I am the over spraying guy. Had one too many complaints that I over sprayed the enemy team!

Sometimes I wear teeth protector fox box etc but mostly for cqb. For outside games i usually don't use anything beside my beard to protect me from incoming bbs. Last game I got hit twice in my mouth, but as u said, I took it as part of the game. Ps: cooling it with a gbb mag is smart, gonna use it nextime

Welp. If I were running an airsoft field. I would probably buy a couple of extra masks for people who might come to the field without face protection. I would not allow somebody to play on the field without face protection. Instead I would let them borrow one of the masks and use it. One reason I would do this is, if a bb goes into your eye. You can say good bye to that eye. Also some parts of the head are sensitive and could probably end up damaging you. Honestly, it is the dumbest thing you can do to go on a field and not protect your face. I can understand less body and leg protection. But in my opinion it is crucial to have head protection.

I never play with mask, mainly because of the fog and the lack of comfort. I chosed comfort over protection, but I’m not dumb. I don’t smile with open mouth, and careful about when I speak. This way I can avoid teeth shots. However, I got hit many times on my face in the past 10 years and never argued about it or called out the shooters. Its the way it is.
