That's actually not true. It's just coffee itself that we don't drink. Now, is excessive caffeine in any format good for you? Probably not, but the Church doesn't actually have a position on, say, Red Bull. Just coffee. In the past, this led some members to assume that all caffeine was verboten, but that wasn't actually the case. Growing up, my family drank regular, caffeinated soda like the rest.
