💯 agree they haven’t scratched the surface of the potential of the transformers franchises, they could make so many people happy not to mention so much money by using or combining some of the stories, as a longtime transformers fan from the very beginning I wish they could tell the story the right way from the beginning instead of everyone just telling a different story, just start with one combined storyline and progress or adjust along the way, I’m a fan of the Bay universe, but only the ones with Shia LaBeouf in it, they seem to portray Optimus prime and his true form. But also if they started with primus and then made a movie about the 13 primes, it’d be like Game of Thrones agon conquest all the way to John Snow..

Its iffy but they can. Primus attempted to add some sort of reproductive cycle to his creations hence the maximals and the predecons as a weird fusion of organic and inorganic concepts. The knowledge around it is a bit iffy cause there were multiple ways Transformers could be born from.
