I would recommend that you look into the Johnnie crash racing conversion kit for your other truck also I think you may find 12 S to be a bit much. I highly recommend 8S.

You should take the springs off the clutch, then you don’t have to worry about the reverse servo. You can just use it like any other RC car. I’ve done that on mine and it works awesome.

I wouldn’t recommend using an adapter with anything higher than 4s packs.
