I'm limited on my knowledge on Ferris Manis. Mostly because there is limited knowledge on him, but here's what I understand of him. I think the biggest issue is that Ferris has kind asshole rizz, you walk in the room, he says you are weak, gives you a mastercrafted weapon, says the most profound shit you've ever heard, tells you you're dumb, tells you to believe in yourself, pats you on the back and then tells you to fuck off while smiling at you behind your back. Keep in mind this tier list is based on straight conversationalism, not how nice they are or likability. Granted he does deserve more credit than he gets, and should be at least above Dorn.

The worse part was that he was raised on a highly political feudal world, so he was constantly arguing with arrogant politicians that he KNEW he was correct over, but was never listened to, he was already bitter and resentful by the time the Emperor found him.

Ferrus seems like the guy that doesn’t really talk or emote much when it comes to certain subjects, but if you bring up anything related to smithing, he immediately sets down whatever he’s doing, drags you to the forge, and immediately starts giving tips.

Ferus strikes me as the dude that if you really enjoy something he'd like to hear you talk about it and offer advice. Russ is a soccer hooligan you will have fun and also probably end up hungover in a lot of pain when it's over. And the khan strikes me as dude that will meet you on your level if you don't outright annoy him and will say something you never considered and changes your world view and won't even realize he did it.

Perturabo has ONE way to converse with at a reasonably social manner. All you need to do is convince him you're worth his time and teach you stuff. He GLADLY teaches those who at least understand and admit that they lack knowledge. Honesty, logic and the brutal truth are his ways. Whilst pissing him off is not a good idea Perturabo might be the best mentor out of the Primarchs after Gulliman and Vulcan. As long as you admit your flaws and faults and try your best to learn and improve, he will help out as long as he sees a point to it. Very few are talented enough to warrant Perturabo's attention but to those he's a relatively patient and the most analytical teacher ever who will explain everything and will be reasonably pleasant with them.

The thing I can’t get over is how Peter turbo, Vulcan and Ferus the menace weren’t a bit closer in my mind at least when it came to forging etc I feel like that’s a good place to begin with a possible way to better their relationship between them Vulcan giving him hugs and Ferrus being down to earth seems like a good thing for Peter turbo that he needs

9:00 Pretty much this. Horus was the obvious pick bc he was a natural leader- someone able to get others on board with his plan, utilize their strengths and listen to others' input. Lion was by far the better commander and better warrior, but he was about as socially capable as a plank of wood and taking constructive criticism wasn't his strong suit either.

Besides being custom-built for building empires with more tools than fire and sword. Gurlyman also *one of the few primarches that had _normal_ formative years*. Yes! With family dinners, friends to do friends stuff with, and hobbies to talk about. So, he would be great at conversation not only because he has nat +100500 charisma, but also because you can have a _normal_ conversation with the guy.

I do have some arguments for Perturabo, although none will and should move him from his F Tier spot, not until we get more current date lore for him. Hear my words. Firstly, as shown in recent lore he is willing to sit down and teach. Quite unthinkable years ago but here he was giving lessons to Honsou, in his own way. Secondly I think that Perturabo as evidenced from the former point may not be the same Perturabo from 30k, and I'm not simply talking physically. Having 10k years to do as you wish, as you want, as oppossed to doing the bidding others could have changed the man even ever so slightly. Think of it; Had he been doing all that fighting for himself? No, it was always for others and always without gratidude. His adopted father, his real father, even his brother, all the result of him giving his word and holding himself to it. Only with the last example did he finally put his foot down and tell his boys they bleed for no one else, they're leaving. If we get more lore at a later date, I hope to see him jump up to D tier.

I think I'd choose to go on a roadtrip with Vulkan. I mean come on. He's arguably the friendliest Primarch. Plus I have an interest in forging so... Yeah. Vulkan would definitely be my choice. Conrad? No. Just no. If I am going to get removed from the census I do NOT want it to be in the ways he would go about removing me from it.

He disrespected the Ferrussy Manussy. Clearly, Mr. Pancreas has turned heretical. I actually do like Ferrus Manus a lot, but I also pity him for never truly understanding that it was never about his self-perceived "weakness". It was never about him being "weak", it was more about his bull-headed nature making him rush to conclusions. He is not a bad conversationalist, he's just very awkward, kind of like the Lion. They are both hyper-focused on different things, with the Lion being hyper-fixated on being a conqueror for the Emperor, and Ferrus being focused on crafting the perfect weapons and such.
