Sculpted cape can be displayed front or back as well, just can't rotate as the fabric one can (unless they changed things in the final production)

Uh oh. Another piece that's slowly starting to grow on me. Quite a few things on him that I'm not crazy about, which had me passing on him. But the piece has an Heroic feature to it, that makes him stand out. Great review. Not a huge Supes fan at all, but this possibly might end up being the second Superman piece added to my collection.

Excellent review. I agree with you on the ivy its awful but their must be a reason for it.. I think the plinth he's standing on is supposed to be a marble type stone . The cape looks good looking at it on the statue, when you get the final look you want I think it will be a awesome piece. I can't keep up with the amount of these things you have/getting. Well done.

Wow he's huge! Almost like a 1/2 scale height. Anyway, I think the ivy on his neck looks cheap because of the material being used to prevent scratches and slightly elastic but the paint really need to be better. I hope Huntress come out well too as I got her pre ordered.

@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Yes, I do remember now reading that the sculpted cape version had sold out pretty fast. Great point on the extra space that a sculpted cape would take up. I bet Hush Batman looks great paired with this Superman.

I have mine on order. It's still worth imo. I would like a doomsday too but already going for Zodd Apostle form when it hits so both might take up my whole living room lol. Although I still might. I have that other supes too he's a decent piece as well. I still love the classic supes from SS though.

Are you considering to get the black version? I really like the bearded portraits.. and well, the black. The portraits should be switchable with this statue. The only thing stopping me from buying this or the black version is the width of the base. Maybe in the future.. Thanks for the video!

Coming back to this video and now I can compare Prime 1's Hush Superman to the Iron Studios Superman and I have come to a conclusion. Neither is better then the other but both have attributes that are better then the other. If you could meld the best of this statue with the best of the Iron Studios statue you would have one very kickass Superman statue.

CAUTION, There is a big flaw, the cape is about 6 cm longer on one side than on the other. There is also the iron rod on the longer side which obviously does not cover the entire length of the fabric. I made a complaint to Prime 1 studio but they refuse to replace the cape saying it is just a variation. A simple variation !!! Pathetic...
