So awesome!! Congrats on a sick bow!! Thank you for your support!!

I have been watching reviews of both bows on KZbin. My local pro shop carries both bows and I’m thinking of purchasing one of these bows. Your video gave me some additional things to think about when I test drive the bows so thank you for the side by side comparison. I found your review very helpful.

You referred to the Revolt x "wiggle" at full draw... This is one of the smoothst drawing bows ever produced. The side to side movement at full draw you describe is probably caused by your aggressive and fast draw style. Try getting your scapulaes inline prior to drawing the bow, instead of relying on brute force and crashing into the valley.

I am interested in what was wrong with the fletching. What was going on that made that arrow hit high?
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
It had a big tear in it that was flapping

Hey! Can the Bowmaster portable how press handle those wide limbs and the bigger space between the limbs because of the Prime double-cam system?
@kinleydorji25024 жыл бұрын
Wish I could try prime black, no dealers in Bhutan also.

Is it correct that the limb pockets on the revolt X are plastic or polymer? How does that sit with you for a flagship product?
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
Yeah... from just a shooting point of view they work great! However... it’s going to be a whole different look on how it holds up when your in the mountains hunting and putting that bow thru some harsh elements! So having plastic pockets in a big turn off for me in a hunting stand point. Shooting at an indoor range I feel like it’ll hold up just fine though
@Bluesplayer7895 жыл бұрын
Haxen Hunt thanks for your prompt reply. I live three hours from an archery store so want to love the way the bowtech can be tuned so easily without a press but here in Australia the axius ultra is about same price and traverse is cheaper. So hard to get past the plastic for bush hunting. Thanks for your content!

Those Delrin limb pockets are arguably stronger than aluminum limb pockets at a fraction of the weight!
@mikemehle15374 жыл бұрын
Delrin tensile strength is 11,000 psi and aluminum is 27,000 psi.

Great video man, I love the Revolt X.

You should do the speed test with the Bowtech's in the Performance setting. That way you would get a true apples to apples comparison on speed.

Add 9 fps to the revolt on performance

Why did you have a kisser On the prime and not the Bowtech?

It was just set up that way in the shop
@jamesdutton54395 жыл бұрын
Hey I recently started to follow you. I love the videos. You do a great job at comparing the two. But something I'd like to see is maybe more tech stuff so to say. Maybe what to carry in your pack while hunting incase a malfunction happens. Keep up the great work!

Heck ya!! Great ideas!! Thanks for your support!!!

Did you say what weight arrow and draw length? Pretty sure they were 70 lbs
@billjones97085 жыл бұрын
Why did you focus on different things with each bow? I would have liked to see the speed test with the Revolt in the performance setting.

What kind of arrow and fletchers are you usin?

I linked them in the description! I use the Easton axis match grade arrows with the AAE stealth vanes!

I’d like to see the black 5 vs the vrx 31.5 truly see if the length of the riser affects that much compared to the ATA difference
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
I’ll write that one down to do!!
@ericsims915 жыл бұрын
This is my final two as well. I can’t find a dealer who has both on the shelf. I shot the Mathews bottomed out at 78# and it was nice. I’d go to 80# limbs on the prime. The advantage of the draw weight modules on the Mathews make it much better on the resale since it can be backed all the way down to 60lbs for anyone whereas the market for an 80# Prime is a much smaller market.
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
Eric Sims yeah that’s the hard thing with a 80#

I would like to see you do the Prime 1, PSE NXT 31, and VXR 31.5.
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
I don’t have access to any PSE bows in my town but I can for sure do the VXR 31.5!!
@ericsims915 жыл бұрын
The string angle of the vxr 31.5 is more like the Prime Black 5. I think it would be a better comparison.

Everything you pointed out in here is why I also went with the Prime over the Bowtech. Especially the groupings and getting on target steadier. Just a phenomenal Bow by Prime this year as with any year lol
@TheAllankuz5 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the review! The two bows I've been thinking about and I'll shoot both and plan on purchasing one! I don't know if I missed it but were both bows set at the same draw weight, draw length and what were the weight of the arrows?
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
Yeah same weight and stuff! Arrows are 437 grains! Thank you for your support!!

Didn't you compare the black 5 to Primes equivalent flagship from last year and you were commenting on how terrible the hand shock was?
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
On the black 5 it wasn’t as bad! However I adjusted the string stop and it helped a ton!
@Pattyboybx5 жыл бұрын
God damn !!! Just came back from a shop and I forgot to try the prime. So far I tested the elite Kure and revolt x. I have a left shoulder problem in which weight is a serious issue. More than likely I’ll be going with the revoltx.
@haromaster60864 жыл бұрын
The primes a bit clunky when pulled back.
@davidsolis35405 жыл бұрын
Will never shoot a prim , mainly because the three closest dealers don’t sell them.

You need to learn how to draw a bow in a hunting situation put bow up and draw straight back less movment Im guessing you are drawing to much weight also you could shorten your draw length as you arm is to straight try it youl be very suprised you will be more accurate. speed is over rated
@HaxenHunt5 жыл бұрын
Yeah man I know exactly what you’re talking about! This bow is for sure not setup to me! I’ve got it on those settings for just testing purposes to show you guys!! Thank you though for noticing that!

Why are you sky drawing if you give a review? you should know thats one of the worst things you can do. Of course other than aiming full draw at someone or dry firing. If you need to draw do it directly on target or if you can't aim at the ground or shoot a lighter bow you will seriously hurt someone if you keep that up.
