Thanks, I need battery operated because I live in the USA and rent my housing. A small solar panel configuration would be great if possible

There are a few solar powered video doorbells on the market but the problem here is that they are either subscription plan bound or come from companies that are not well known or supported, including Home Assistant support. Check out this review Ref: doorbellplanet.com/best-solar-powered-doorbell/

Can this doorbell be integrated into Home Assistant?

Alas, not yet. Which is a real shame as it would make this the perfect doorbell if that was the case. But its the infamous worry over battery life from manufacturers. But saying that this really is the best video doorbell I have tested, solid performance and ultra reliable and very quick to respond.

What is the point of an Australian channel having a competition that Australians can’t enter, if we wanted that we could subscribe to the other 1000 USA channels and be excluded due to our location. This really is a poor decision. I only subscribed and found you yesterday and I’m honestly rethinking it
