PRIME MINISTER NABBANJA ASSURES OF GOVERNMENT’S COMMITMENT TO REVIVE TORORO PHOSPHATE INDUSTRY

The Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja has assured the people of Tororo that the government is doing all it takes to have the Tororo phosphate factory operational.
Nabbanja made the assurance today while presiding over a fundraising drive organized by the Tororo municipality member of Parliament Apollo Yeri Ofwono and family to help women market vendors and also raise funds for the Church.
Nabbanja told the hundreds of Tororo residents that she has already met the head of state about the fertilizer factory and government is considering a joint venture partnership.
Nabbanja assured Ugandans that the government programme of Parish Development model must succeed and asked the public to report any issues affecting the implementation of the programme for immediate action.
