@@PrimeNewtons Yes, you don't even need to solve the equation for x; you can just find it right there on the page !!! It also makes it easier to know that the symbol isn't the multiplication sign × .

Muy bueno los pasos y la explicación para resolver esta Integral. Pero en 8:00 para encontrar la Integral de sec x multiplicó Numerador y Denominador por la expresión sec x + tg x y muchos quedan impresionados por ello. No es ningún artificio,. Es más bien una trampa o un truco. Porque para saber porqué se debe multiplicar por esa expresión y no otra, se aprovecha el CONOCIMIENTO del RESULTADO de la Integral que es: ln (sec x + tg x) y como se sabe que la Derivada de Logaritmo NEPERIANO es 1/x, entonces necesitamos que sec x + tg x tengamos en el Denominador No es la Octava Maravilla Lo correcto es utlizar por ejemplo la Sustitución Trigonométrica Universal. También existe otros caminos, pero sin usar RESULTADO CONOCIDO
