Primer Gameplay Sonic X Shadow Generations | The Ark Act 1| Biolizard Boss

Doom's Eye when it shows up actually comments as I hoped he would when he appears before Shadow here. when he says "The promised time comes once more", its suggesting that this is not just Black Doom being plucked from the past like many of the bosses in the original Sonic Generations. This is Black Doom more or less back from the grave.

Could also be possible that he has remained dormant inside of Shadow this entire time. As long as Shadow lives, so does Black Doom. Not fact just theory.

Your theory could be possible. Considering that Shadow's blood is from Black Doom, it would make sense that Black Doom would return. We'll just find out when the game is out.

I made an entire review of that game and gave it a bunch of praise. It's easily one of my all-time favorite Sonic games.

Even with its faults I enjoed it too. There was still so much left unanswered after SA2 and the guys at SEGA and Sonic Team wanted to give Shadow his own starring role almost from the beginning. I'd say the game was a success.

Shadow’s campaign is honestly gonna be the main course of this remaster and generations itself just feels like the appetizer

I had wondered for years about what Shadow and even Silver had to be doing leading up to their encounters with Sonic in their respective boss fights, considering. With Eggman muscking up space/time on this level, it only stands to reason certain other things that happened would be tossed into the mix even if Eggman didn't intend for it to happen. That seems most likely why Crisis City even existed in the PC/360 version of Generations since Eggman wouldnt even be aware of Soleanna's fate in that doomed future since Sonic reset time in Sonic 06. Not to mention I had often wondered that somehow against all odds the Black Arms might have been brought back by accident due to Eggman's unwillingness to take into account the repercussions of his more ambitious schemes.

I'm really excited for that Ark level, I hope they made a new remix of The Ark/Final Rush and this seems like a mashup of important Ark levels in Sonic games, just watch and you can tell there is Final Rush, Final Chase, Crazy Gadget, The Ark, Eternal Engine. It would be nuts if there are act 1 and 2 and both are this kind of full tour within the space colony ark, mixing everything into one pack of level.
