I’m so glad you’re not into fragranced products, my skin can’t stand fragrance so getting your opinion and product reviews is always helpful for me.

Thank you for your insight on Primers & Setting Sprays. I find both of these categories to be very overwhelming . The way that you presented this video from different price points, texture, color preference, to the way that the product held up was spot on! Great insight too. I always look to your advice when buying new products.

Love your channel, esp the declutter! Just a FYI, setting sprays typically just help cut down the powdery look of makeup and make it melt together. Fixing sprays are what help with the longevity of your makeup, but they usually contain alcohol as one of the first few ingredients. It's really confusing because most things are labeled as setting sprays, even if they're a fixing spray. I use both after my makeup, setting spray first and fixing spray last.

The Nyx Dewy spray is one of my favourites, I'm on my third repurchase! I've actually decanted my Mac Fix+ into an old bottle because I love its spray. The spray is a bit "aggressive" but that's how I prefer it.
@cocoloumakeup99645 жыл бұрын
Loving your declutter series :) Also I love the nyx dewy setting spray, don't hear many people talking about it, but it does actually add a dew to the face without having any shimmer in it! Most 'dewy' sprays i find are more 'illuminators' that just deposit glittery particles all over your face. Only thing is it smells quite strongly of alcohol so probs not the best for the skin.

I don't use either. I focus more on skincare and serums and creams, instead of primers. My skin is super oily, it doesn't like too many layers.

I love your declutters. I go a sample of the Tatcha Silk Cream and I’m so sad it’s soooo expensive because it’s beautiful. 😭 I’ve heard amazing things about the ELF dupe for it so I’m hoping they get it in stock soon on the elf Australia site! 🤞🏻

elyse6688 I just recently got my hands on the ELF putty primer and it is a great product and no fragrance that I can smell. I signed up for a restock alert email directly from the ELF website to be able to order it. So worth it and a perfect dupe for Tatcha silk canvas, minus the scent! 😁💖

The FAB primer is so beautiful under BB or CC cream's or cushion's it gives you a healthy natural glow and it's super moisturizing. I like it on those light makeup days. I see you used up your Too Faced Hangover spray I didn't see it in there. That's my favorite luminous setting spray but you tossed my favorite matte one the Urban Decay Allnighter.

Will be very interested in your take on the Bobbi Brown face base. I had to stop using it YSL foundation was falling off and really cakey with it. Will probably just use it as moisturiser. Bobbi’s own video seemed to indicate it was for oilier skin which seems weird for an enriched face base.

I really enjoy these declutters, are you going to do one(s) for skin care too once you're done with the makeup? Also quick question regarding these primers; do you know if all of them is without alcohol? Or would you mind listing the ones that you're keeping which is without?

I bought the hangover primer because of your recommendation and I’m not sure it is working. All of My foundation breaks up badly. Does it have to be used with a water based foundation? Maybe that is the problem I don’t think any of mine are. I’m still trying to find something that looks good on me 🤪I have the it cc cream, L’Oréal freshwear, flower light illusion, and just bought the cyo lifeproof but haven’t tried it. Seems as though any I wear makes my face dry, very textured and the makeup breaks up badly.
@ArnaAlayneMorton5 жыл бұрын
I think it does make a difference having the bases match, but it might also not be quite right for your skin type! The Hourglass one is a great silicone primer!

@natalielamonte49685 жыл бұрын
Tatcha claims their fragrances are all natural so it’s not a synthetic fragrance. And if you notice all their products smell the same, which is from the special complex they put in everything. I am still not sure I’m fully on board with the brand but I don’t think the fragrance is problematic. 🤷🏻♀️
@ArnaAlayneMorton5 жыл бұрын
If it’s added fragrance, natural or synthetic, unfortunately it can still be sensitising to skin over a long time! I just think they could skip it completely and people would still love their products and I’d be more of a positive advocate haha
