To answer your question about the species, it’s supposed to be Deinonychus.

i still find it interesting that this was the first actual dinosaur ( unless you count Hesperornis from the mosasaur episode ) in the show, and it didn't show up until season 2 lol and no Rex until season 4 was a bold choice.

I got the Smilodon with Abby set back when the show was still going; the articulation was kinda loose too even new from package. Pretty cool figures anyway.

If you want to fix loose figure joints, use clear nail polish, it helps make more friction on the joints.

I don't believe they ever refer to the "raptor" by name in the show but most people tend to call them either Deinonychus or Utahraptor (though an actual Utahraptor appears in the spin-off series New World with a completely different design, so there's that). I'd lean more toward Deinonychus, but *shrug*
