I love how they're not sacrificing engineering or complexity in the mainline figures. This Nightbird, the Wheeljack, Airrazor, and the Cheetor have decently complex transformations and engineering which was really surprising to see

It's a fun design for a character rarely if ever used outside G1. Car kibbles a bit untidy, but other than that decently articulated, and nicely painted in both modes. Feels like a great racing companion alongside Legacy Knockout.

Her Nissan GT-R R33 mode has highlights that are a lot more rose/pink-gold than what is seen on this figure. Despite that, it's a nice rendition of a non-licenced GT-R. Can't wait to see a fully licenced one in Studio Series. Definitely going to be one for the collection as a petrol-head, alongside Mirage's Porsche.

Since she’s based on the Nissan Skyline R33 GTR I hope the studio series version either gets closer to the actual car (it’s a JDM legend among the car community) or they’re able to get the trademark from Nissan. It shouldn’t be hard since they’re not a top of the line brand like Lamborghini and such.

And those small hints to a Studio Series Scourge review like the "one out of three Predacons that I've reviewed SO FAR" and all the shots on the photo segments are getting me so hyped for the review to eventually happen. I dont have very high hopes for this movie. Mainly because of the way there portraying some of the characters. I have no problems with the terricons, its just the Autobots. Optimus Prime having a mouth, and wheeljack not having his g1 head sculpt. I hope they change a lot in the final cut. Like very few autobots being left.

I got all the figures for the awesome Cybertronian designs for the characters in Bumblebee. I passed on Shatter as I just didn't like either of her figures but she looks awesome in the movie. I'm hoping we'll get better mainline figures of her down the road. With ROTB, looks like I'm going back to the Michael Bay days when I was only getting figures that looked really good to me which weren't that many because I just didn't care for the ultra alien robot designs. So far, the Beast Wars figures look great. Chefatron's review of Nightbird is dead on. Only thing great about it is the head. A definite pass for me. I hope she doesn't look this bad in the movie.

Not bad on Hasbro's part. And not too shabby on your review of Nightbird. But if I'm being honest, my only gripes about the toy itself are the fact that her vehicle mode didn't get the proper license for some reason, the tab for her chestplate to be locked into place for robot mode isn't exactly strong enough, as you surmised, which is a bit of a good thing and a bad thing at the same time, and her paint job in vehicle mode is off-kilter. Definitely not getting this version of Nightbird. But I love your reviews all the same, matey. I hope you're ready for Hasbro's Tuesday Fan Pulse on Tuesday, January the 31st. Hopefully, we'll be seeing some of the 2023 toy releases of Transformers that Hasbro has in store for us. Ta-ta for now.

I really love Nightbird's design but I do not like this toy that well. it's a bit too bulky, and so much kibble, but at least the kibble looks decent. I could see the side panels being like part of hip skirts, given her an almost trenchcoat styled look if the back had some parts too. There's so much of a good design here, just budget issues. oh, now I want to see a custom of that wheeljack as an Elton John styled look, I mean he has the head for it.
