How this figure transforms is likely how TT is going to design the MP megatron for the 2.0 era. I really don't like the fake chest on some figures when they aren't even at the same location when transformed into the alt mode. For me, I always enjoy the smart design for transformation more than the cartoon accuracy for the MP line.

Usually I prefer magic square over newage, but I do like newage’s Agamemnon a tad bit more. It’s transformation is more efficient imo. I prefer complex transformations because it’s fun to fiddle with, but Agamemnon uses simpler steps to accomplish the same thing. Also the feet end up on the back of the gun which I prefer. I do wish they made a matte nylon version to make it look cartoon accurate though.

Dude, as much as I agree that the kibble is inexcusable on the MP, I can’t say the rest of this is even remotely true. The MP has much more accurate proportions, and is far more representative of the character than this extremely possible bar of soap. It honestly doesn’t even look like Megatron to me, it looks like one of those 3$ knock offs you find at checkout in convenience stores. I’ll admit the accessories are far more appealing, but when they’re being displayed alongside this busty chunk of plastic, they’re not enough to justify buying this one over the other... in my opinion, you’re far better off waiting to see whatever TransformElement is working on next.

Keep in mind, the original MP-36 figure is among the hardest figures to transform, they had to shrink it into legend-class, it’s not gonna be a clean transformation either.

Cannonically Megatron is silver though. In one episode some kid asks for a silver crayon to color Megatron. So they technically could make him silver and it would be 100% cartoon accurate.

look man, i love your reviews, you review figures with awesome personal opinions in detail, and you review figures before most other people get to them....but your transformations are messy. this figures supposed to have an easier transformation, but it looks harder than the mp version. and its because i can see you rushing through it, fiddling with the pieces, just trying to get it done. take your time man. show each piece cleanly and clearly. slowly if you have to. your channel would be perfect if your transformations had more care and time put into them
