I don't understand all these comments calling him fake. He might have other people behind the scenes, but the main thing is that he's showing us all the techniques and that alone is very helpful and impressive.
@Augoeides32

Because the implication is that they do it alone with basic primitive tools. Most people could build this stuff, if they had a team of a dozen people with power tools, and a bulldozer to dig for them. Don't get me wrong, it's still impressive building, but their reputation is build on lies.
@pamollak

@David Neal Well you're right about that. But isn't it the same with most people on TV and social media? Very few of them are real and honest.

Building off of his and others ideas is what this is about. And yes, anyone can do this, with or without teams and dozers, etc. and a LOT more time. The canned condensed version is for us to see and mimic some of these things when and if it should be needed, and it likely will be. This aint about honesty, clicks, or reality, its about the techniques for me. I saw not a thing he did that I could not do as he has taught, be tough for sure, Im 68 now but would not hesitate to take it on and will if its ever needed. And thanks to him I can think outside a box I didnt know was there. Great stuff and great ideas. God bless@@Augoeides32

These Gentleman are practiced at the art. They are extremely talented and gifted. I beg to differ when you say they have crews, the only thing that is OBVIOUS is the time lapses they use and that's only natural. In other words it may take 3-4 days to maybe even one week to do such a project. After all as skilled as they are, they are human beings not robots.

What else can this Superman do? He had a backpack and a few tools and made this gorgeous place, ready for the rainy season and all. Lifted up, way up off of the ground. Cozy and comfy. Absolutely a gem, a strong silent type. Where’d the tomatoes come from? I missed that part. ❤

I'll say one thing. Aside from the occasional effects for video, this guy is engineering skills are really next level. My guess is probably serving officer with the Philippine special forces. These are the kind of skills that would be called for in his line of work

You were doing great to build a lot of warm shelter. You can save a lot of people who walk or getting lost in the wilderness and stay temporarily while building their own. Those skills that you are showing are very knowledgeable. Keep doing this.......good luck!

oh no, we cant do that, what'll happen to the corporations!? There's a lot that we could do that would last centuries or even millennia such as the ancients, but they say we lost the technology or some other stuff, yeah sure, the pyramids, etc, but the vast majority, we could do. but people like convenience and the money that comes with it... I plan on buying land, and building in this manor, and timber frame, and all other sorts, and hopefully open an education system about the history through daily life. this channel and those like it have taught me a lot. and I plan on keeping them rolling and keeping myself learning, and someday, I'll have a spot for people to come and build and learn all sorts of crafts in a period accurate way.... teach people how to sustain themselves

One piece of advice that I'd love to see him try is to make a "combustible air" way for his fireplaces. Leave a channel for air to reach the firebox that comes from the outside instead of the inside of the shelter. This is a huge quality of life improvement if you take the time to do it.
