Cool to have another BMX channel to follow! And great time killer as I'm laying in the hospital 💪🏼 Keep up the good work! PS the full camo seat would fit well with my hopefully new build up that's coming, a green cult Dak frame that I got from a friend, that he wanted to give me, so I keep my fire up so I'm soon will be walking again I hope. Take care!

I just bought an old school Trick-star ⚾️ Im just getting back into it. I’m gonna buy what I can from your website. Some things I might have to get elsewhere, like the Tange 320 headset in polished chrome. I’ll contact you before I actually buy anything though in case you have at your store. Anyway once I have everything I’m taking it out there to you. I didn’t know you were from Cali. I’m out in here Whittier. I could go out here but I like your channel, and I browsed your location, cool spot 😁

I switched from stock 3 piece cranks and bottom bracket, to Odyssey Twombolts and Odyssey bb. I notice a big difference in how much smoother the odyssey bb is. I was wondering if it was something to do with the cranks having less flex as well? Online a lot of people say bottom brackets make no difference and its all the same except for sizes and which ever brand stamps their logo on it. So im guessing its the odyssey bb making it feel nicer.

I have a haro bmx from the early 2000s and im not sure what bottom braket i have all i know is that i have 3 piece cranks that might have a 22mm spindal or a 19mm spindal

Great video. Been thinking about going to a 22mm BB for a new bike. Is there any noticeable strength difference between 19 and 22mm? Thanks man! Loving all these videos.

Not really both are similar 22mm just makes the cranks stronger

My Churchill cranks didn’t come w a crank puller tool (24mm),,, why is this you think? I can’t even find them online.
@Stackedbmx2 жыл бұрын
The cranks do not come with a crank tool. 24mm cranks are so new they do not have tools on the market yet. We use rubber mallets and the crank bolts to install or remove
@shaynenichols83432 жыл бұрын
@@Stackedbmx after tinkering around, I’ve finally mastered them myself. I now have my 24mm Churchills and I just converted my backup bike to a 24mm bb w dolmen 2 cranks🙌🏼 It honestly makes a night and day difference to me.. the fact the sprocket is FLUSH to the spindle helps a lot I guess..

Bro i bought this bike in the winter great deal but i found it has 2 issues the crank geared way to small then the other issue was its one piece crank the treads are stripped off and it wont tighten need advice
@Stackedbmx7 ай бұрын
Those are big problems. You need a new set of one piece cranks, larger sprocket aka the one that has the correct ratio, and a chain. Good luck

what is the best crank size? 19mm, 22mm, 24mm? i see 19mm as being common and was thinking isn't 24mm like expert pro level like?. i don't want an argos or wallmart type of bike with stupid size sprocket. im thinking 28t and not a 25t. what length cranks should i get? google says 160mm for my height of 5.3 with my short legs but im thinking 165mm would be better for longer journeys to places. any help will be greatly appreciated for my first box bike build.
@Stackedbmx6 жыл бұрын
24mm B.B. is starting to be the norm, 28t sprocket if you run a freecoaster, 170mm or smaller. Check out more of our B.B. sprocket & crank videos for more info
@ayalaa47445 жыл бұрын
165mm cranks are good for you and 28t is better if you want to go far/ overall better than 25t. Bottom bracket Idk

He lost me when he said he can see through customers questions in regards to a purchase. That sucks that he feels this way. It comes with the business. No one is trying to steel your secrets! You should focus on establishing customer loyalty, sale or no sale. Ive been sold an inferior part just because you guys wanna push a specific brand.
@Stackedbmx2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it does suck. I have been loyal to many. communication is the hardest with most customers. work at a bike shop and you will understand. if you ever been to a grumpy bike shop, they used to be happy lol.

Brother, there is no need to keep harping on the DIY group and justifying coming to a professional. Especially if you are making a video to show everyone how to DIY. Great information though. Thanks. Could have been a lot shorter without all the ranting.
@trinitydoe66484 жыл бұрын
Im choosing to watch a KZbin video to be proactive and LEARN the info I want to, as opposed to "bothering" my local shop, so why not hop off that soapbox & quit the preachin, cuz I didn't come here 4 that, & I sure as sh*t don't wanna hear it, you know what I'm sayin? It's not going to help you OR your shop when your video has a retention rate that shows a decent percent of your viewers quit watching about a third of the way through...
