Thanks Pat, Roglic can thank IPT for his win, they chased all day (some say as a punishment from their DS for not getting in the break) and that allowed Bora to sit back until near the end when the breakaway was just over a minute away. It was entirely opportunistic as Primoz himself said at the post race interview and I believe him given that tomorrow is the Queen Stage and Bora likely wanted today to be relatively easy so would have let a breakaway win as long as there was no GC threat in the breakaway.
@stuartwalker67864 ай бұрын
Felix Gall should have rode with BO'C in that last 750m, he may not have been able to help him draft wise, but could have offered psychological motivation (much like Martinez did for Bernal in the Giro a few yr ago). I know he was trying to protect his GC position at the same time, but in a Vuelta that 'could' be decided on seconds, it hay have made the difference that allowed him to form a bridge to allow O'Conner to latch onto that 29 sec gap group, (Vollering is a prime example of this!). RED at the end is better than if they end up with a 3rd and 5th. Also this was IDEAL territory for Roglic, but was probably the worst type of climb for BO'C, so today's Queen stage will be more telling.

I think he lives in Andalucia, where Y’s are J’s.

He does that for some different riders, seems it's just some sort of inside joke

Piss poor performance by Visma. And I'm pleasently surpriced that Skjelmose is looking quite good.

Roglic can only win in a field of shitters. Picking out a GT with the weakest field. He has been finished for 3-4 years now

Looks like Kuss is toast already. Hes a great domestique but lets face it he won last year because he got in a lucky break. Roglic would have won it last year if he didnt have to wait for Kuss.
