Am I the only one who thinks Ler is one of the most underrated guitarists ever. That dude can shred it up and is so stylistically versatile, but you never see him mentioned in any of these best guitarist lists.....it's kinda bullshit.

Imagine a person who's never heard of Primus sits down to enjoy the evenings broadcast of their favorite talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, and they are assaulted by the musical complexity of Primus where they listen to a man slap a bass for 47 seconds and then in Primus voice sing "you can have a lollipop, a candy bar, a jellybean". Beautiful

I love the absurdity of this performance: primus on a mainstream late night show (I know they've done plenty of them in the 90s, it blows my mind that they're still able to), bud light ads front and centre, and les singing nursery rhymes to an audience of (I suspect) mostly adults. Goddammit i love America!

Primus is one of those strange bands who were very comercially popular yet people still talk about them like they're an underground band. They were in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, did the theme song to South Park and had three albums in the Billboard top 10.

+nuke97 You took the words right out of my mouth! I love Jay Lane but Herb is the Ginseng Drummer that acts like a silver back gorilla coming threw the jungle as Les says. Jayski has more of that hop to his beats which isn't bad but in a song like this and a lot of Frizzle, when this song gets real heavy you need that double kick that amps up like three times its speed at the end.
