I've watched quite a lot of these videos and seem some remarkably talented drummers throughout, but so far this guy definitely wins. First of all, his tempo keeping is metronomic unlike any other audition I've seen. Second, his virtuosity is of a level where I feel like there's nothing any previous primus drummer could do that he can't, while at the same time he throws in little bits of his own creativity (but without overdoing it). Most importantly, I could just picture him on stage with them, not seeming at all out of place, head and shoulders beyond any of the other submissions I've seen. And for extra credit, he kinda looks like Dave Lombardo circa 2003-ish. This guy has my endosement.

They dont need a drummer who can play the songs, they want an individual that can gel with the band and be able to fit into a well established group. A 3 piece needs 3 solid musicians that can hold their own and adapt when necessary. Josh is a beast drummer, i kust think they need/want someone with that X factor that can really contribute rather than someone who can play the songs. I wish Josh all fhe best but id be mixing that shit up and improvise where possible. This is Primus, one if a kind, not to be replicated. I honestly think they need a seasond pro who they can let do his/her fhing.
