The weird part is, this was never released as a single, so at the time, there was no "short" version. Radio stations played the full album version. I don't think that short version came out until The Hits and B Sides, and it never sat right with me.

Hi Ashley. Great reaction. Now, please pause, rewind go back. Redo this reaction with the full version of "Adore. Don't do yourself this disservice. You literally lost almost 2 and a half of per magic to the ending of this song. In my humble opinion, this is literally the most beautiful love song written. Prince on this one record, wrote, produced, sanged both lead and background vocals, and played all instruments....except the horns, if I'm not mistaken. ALL FACTS! Whoever posted that song did a disservice to Prince and Adore. This was the best song Prince recorded! Keep in mind that he played all the instruments and did all the background vocals on this song. And the last two minutes are like the post-climax afterglow, where you're basking in what you just experienced while still tingling on the inside. GREAT reaction...But you gotta check out the long version of this joint...Prince takes "Adore" to the heavens. The build up is extraordinary. So cool to see you dip your toe on the Purple Water. The Prince universe is vast. You should def. hear some uptempo Prince classics (Uptown, 1999, Let's Go Crazy, When Doves Cry-Extended Version, Raspberry Beret, Kiss, Gett Off, ect....).

To repeat what has been already been said, the album version must be listened to instead of this edited version. IJS. This is like ordering a Micky D's combo meal and they forgot the fries. This song has so many bars in it that make it amazing. A lot of babies were born in 1987 because of this song, so dope. Every track on Sign O' The Times album is great. The majority of peoples favorite Prince album is either Purple Rain or Sign O' The Times. Those 2 albums are almost always #1 or #2 on their list Liv4luv 0(+->
