You are correct. Harry’s emotional development was arrested the day his mother died when he was 12 years old. MM is making sure that he never progresses beyond that developmental stage so she can continue to manipulate him.

I have read a lot on British, American and Commonwealth history, and I'm 67 years old, so I was very well aware of the British Royal Family all my life. During Covid I started listening to the biographies on the late Queen, Prince Philip, Diana, Charles, Camilla and on Catherine, William, Meghan and Harry. I had LOTS of alone time, I'm not weird 😀 Covid was a weird time. Anyway, after all this, I came to the conclusion that Diana was quite a narcissistic lady, and rather immature as a mother. She was only 21 when she had William, and 23 when she had Harry. William was already spoken for, he was the heir, but she could create rather unhealthy ties to Harry. They never had a family life of any shape or form, apart from the weird life of being Royal, so a lot of the time nannies and security took care of the boys. Aristocracy didn't take care of their children, not even getting up at night or early mornings. William said once that Diana mostly created havoc, and although he said it smiling, I got the impression that it was rather chaotic. The boys had their first nanny for four years, but then Diana got jealous, and the nanny just disappeared. In came a new one. That's really harmful during the early years. So people came and went, and so did Diana, and that creates trauma bonding, love is always connected with fear and abandonment. That's what I believe was the set up, and then Diana died, and Harry couldn't cope. He had a lot of people around him, but he was already scarred, and then came the drugs, and then came Meghan. She's a full blown narcissist. She just bought in to the existing saga, Harry never really accepted that Diana was dead, and Meghan love bombed him, and fed him all he wanted, a lot of supernatural stuff, which is bad for a vulnerable, disoriented man-child. All she needs no is to withdraw a little bit, and Harry falls apart. That's what happens in trauma bonding, and narcissistic relationships. Well, that's my opinion. I'm a teacher and have four kids, so I have both studied and tried to fix it myself. Being a mother is the hardest thing ever. Nobody does it perfectly.

Diana giving that interview to the BBC without telling William showed how impulsive she truly was! The Headmaster had to take William home with he and his wife because his High School became too much for him during the fallout from that interview! I would never do that to my kids! Or at least try my best not to!

I was getting married and having kids around the same time as Diana. I was shocked that she would expose her children to the humiliation of that interview. They were bound to to see and hear all about their parents intimate life. The marriage was a problem on both sides. She chose to marry Charles who was always a bit of a fuddy duddy to people his own age and younger, then she was bored with the reality of royal life. Then she went on to have many affairs and caused marriage breakups and Charles returned to Camilla. This was all over the press and yet again the children had to hear of it.

​@@claireangier3322 Diana was so extremely extremely young, plus she had a chaotic childhood, with so many childhood wounds and trauma, that were all fresh, it all just happened. With someone having such a troubled upbringing as her, it would have taken a lot of life experience, lots of therapy, and lot of growing up and maturity, before taking on the responsibility of being a parent, and being able to be a mature and healthy partner. I adore Diana, and I miss her to this day, but I see her as the young, lost and broken person she was. Yes she was also strong and fierce and beautiful, but she was a mess, with Charles or without. Charles did plenty wrong, but we must stop seeing both of them as an angel and a demon, they where human, with all the faults and wounds human comes with. Non of them entered that marriage with bad intent, they both where looking for love, and tried to find that in each other. They where immature (at least when it comes to relationships), broken and hurt people. With Harry and Meghan it's an other story. I don't think any of them are like "most people". I think Harry have arrested development, and haven't been given boundaries by his family growing up, and I think that has left him with a disturbed ability for empathy. I think Meghan DID enter her marriage with bad intent, and I do think she hasn't the ability to feel any kind of love, sympathy or empathy for anyone. I think she is malignant narcissist who crave riches, fame and fortune, and have a need to hurt others and treating them bad.

I found that visit to the psychic as a red flag too🚩🚩 So many dates were used to manipulate Harry but what also struck me was that he happened to fall aleep at the moment she discovered she was 'pregnant' and woke him up with the positive test next to his mother's hair🚩 I mean who does that? It's like she was trying to make Diana a part of their lives from the get-go! Didn't she also discover she was pregnant with Lili (or make the announcement by 'co-incidence' on the same day Diana announced she was pregnant with Harry - Valentine's day?) He's in so deep he really can't hink straight!

How utterly, unbelievably...weird. I find it dismaying that a grown man could be so gullible in the 21st century. It seems that Harry has been sheltered from "the real world" to an extent I hadn't considered.

I think the point that has already been made about how we all see what we want/need to see…in Spare ( which I listened to twice 🤯) it’s obvious just how limited immature and desperate Harry was at the time of meeting M…& now his situation is truly terrible, he has totally humiliated himself & he has destined himself to be tied to this truly awful woman for ever through his 2 innocent little children. What a total mess 😖🤯. Am certain at some point he will hit rock bottom whether that be an overdose of some sort because he seems to be taking advice from some truly dodgy health professionals or should we say amateurs. Charles as a parent watching on must be beside himself with worry…

I feel so sad for Harry because he just cannot see (and never will) how badly he has been manipulated from long before day one. There are very few people I've ever honestly thought of as "evil", but his wife is at the pinnacle as far as I'm concerned. The worst part? She's only just begun.

Emotionally vulnerable young man meets older, divorced D list actress with an insatiable desire for fame and fortune. In less than two years he is living in a different country, completely cut off from all his friends and family. He frequently appears in public looking as though he’s miserable and has also openly acknowledged his abuse of illegal drugs. He has begun to mirror his wife’s speech and physical gestures. Sounds like a perfectly healthy relationship to me. Can’t imagine why his family were ever concerned about him rushing into marriage with this woman.

Throw in emotional immaturity and his refusal to get past the death of his mother and you have catnip for a master manipulator like Meghan Markle. It truly is tragic. It would break Diana’s heart. Hi Shawna! Lovely name. I haven’t read the book so didn’t know these details! I’m hearing alarm bells AND sirens! Even though I haven’t read the book (or watched the doc.) there are just so many excerpts on SM to make it impossible NOT to see exactly what has been going on, how and by whom. Pure and BLATANT manipulation! Right from the very beginning with his mother’s perfume. This just might go down as one of the biggest con jobs of our generation. You’re absolutely right. Harry is totally trapped in her twisted game of manipulation. She played him since the beginning. There’s so many facts that we are now seeing. No wonder why Prince William smelled the crap from a mile away. Also, he forgot that his wife is a D-list actress. She can play that character of acting as if she’s crying. If the allegations were true, that she wore Princess Diana’s perfume on their first date. That was the big red waving flag to tell himself, Bro, run!! But. He didn’t. He was too smitten and since he doesn’t see himself as good enough. He settled for the “one” who will give him the trouble that he’s also wanting to play because he really felt like a Spare growing up. I wish he finds true peace and happiness within himself. And voila! He’s not a victim yet because he’s emotionally immature and vulnerable from his unhealed trauma, he walked right into the spider’s web. It’s sad that he’s not self-aware nor willing to open his eyes that’s why. The more we learn, the more we realize that this is a sick game he’s playing. There's one story in particular that jumped out to me and I'd love to hear your thoughts. During their first verbal argument, Harry ends up shouting at Meghan. She silently walks away, leaving him to stew in his anger. After some time passes, she returns and asks, "who in your childhood taught you it was okay to speak to women that way"? I believe it was a subtle dig at his dad. Of course he's going to associate that to his father disrespecting his mother by cheating on her. From day 1 Meghan was ever so slightly pushing him away from his family. By all accounts (including Harry himself) William takes after the queen, he's calm, very pragmatic, and grounded. Meanwhile Harry is emotional & quick to anger. IMHO, Harry ends up confirming later in the book that neither his father nor brother were accustomed to shouting. I'm paraphrasing here, "how did it come come this, shouting and yelling over each other"? And "It was frightening to be yelled at my brother and father while my grandmother just sat there". Maybe I'm just reading too far into things. Side Note: Logically speaking, the grave story doesn't really make sense. He leaves to give her a private moment only to return and ask, "so, what happened while I was gone"? I'm starting to think he may not know what the word privacy actually means.

Meghan's question to Harry on her return, also reinforces the core belief of this couple - that all their faults and shortcomings are the fault of others - namely their respective families.

That is an interesting story, not having read the book myself. She sets herself up as the oracle and the therapist right there. Instead of being a wife, and who knows, apologizing for her part and attempting to repair the relationship.

Shawna, there's another way to look at this. As a therapist and working holistically, I am always in search of words used repeatedly in the consultation. If a word is used often, that's my starting point at peeling back those layers to see what it actually means to the patient. You'd be amazed at what is uncovered. I'm not saying the man isn't manipulated because it's clear to see that he is by watching their behaviour together and apart in different scenarios. A strong theme of manipulation runs through the relationship, runs through Meghan's interviews, red carpet events etc - this carries through in words used by Harry in his interviews, both mirroring one another. It's almost as if Harry has taken on Meghan's personality and limited vocabularly in respect of buzz words. Clarity is a feature with Harry - you'll notice it's brought up in his promotional work on the book too. I would love him in the chair and actually ask him what "clarity" actually means to him. I think you'd unravel a lot of his root problems and possibly find causation. Just a thought.

You're so right. I'm 75 now & long retired. Many yrs ago a group of work colleagues decided to visit a psychic and, knowing what a sceptic I am, dragged me along. There were 8 of us - we all sat in a room waiting to see who she'd pick first. It was me!! The only one of the bunch who only believed in science & logic. I don't even believe in God!!! She told me both my dead parents were standing over me in the room, so I asked her what their names were. She didn't bother about my mum, who's name was Anne (very ordinary) but said my dad's name began with the letter B. Still thought it was BS. Then she said Benedict is looking at you now. I thought no-one would just snatch a name like Benedict out of thin air. I was gobsmacked. Until I realised she was a charlatan (aren't they all?). Every person & situation she mentioned had no relevance to me. So she said"But John is relevant to you isn't he?" I come from a large Irish family of many generations, but there isn't a John amongst us. I've never had a friend or boyfriend called John. When I told her I don't know anyone called John, she got annoyed & said "I don't believe you. Everyone knows a John". I left still trying to figure out how the witch knew my father's first name. Then I remembered a conversation I'd shared with my colleagues about my son's middle name "Benedict" after my father. They used to go & see the witch couple times a yr. Obviously tipped her off about the rookie. Mystery solved. I wasn't vulnerable, so did me no harm. My advice to everyone - stay away from superstition, soothsayers & religion. Apologies for banging on. X

She is a skilled manipulator. The many many outfits just like Diana's, the perfume, all the way to him finding her crying on the stairs saying she's suicidal whilst pregnant, when it's well documented that pregnant Diana tried to throw herself down the stairs..... she 100% knows what she's doing, and it will all end in tears. She's letting him dig his own grave by admitting that his drug use is 'fundamental for his mental health', soon she'll say it's not safe for her and the kids to be around that. She's got the title, the kids have got theirs, with the children she will have that connection to the RF for the rest of her life. Job done.

Agree the mind works like that. If you want for something to be true, I.e. you want to do a certain thing and you ask for a sign or look for a sign to confirm that it is the right way to go you will make 😅 things fit.i.e. if I should do this or that, if I see a yellow car I will take it that it is right , but what happens is that while before you wouldn't have paid any attention to a yellow car even though it was there ,now you are looking for a yellow car and start to notice yellow cars everywhere...we basically see the things we want to see.

I am old and my children are the same age as William and Harry. So, I have had a front row seat at Harry's childhood. Plus you cannot believe anything Harry says because he's a compulsive liar. He has learnt well how to play the victim rather than facing up to his bad behaviour by his personality and his upbringing. I don't think we should be fooled. Harry knows exactly how to hurt people as we've seen. Harry has been troubled since he was young, long before Megain came on to the scene. Unfortunately, In my opinion the palace covered for much of his bad behaviour. Megain just capitalised on it. I am not a fan of Megain's but she is not responsible for his unhappiness. We are only seeing his instability now because he's outside of the palace PR machine. I agree that Meghan used Harry to climb up the greacy pole of fame but he was unfortunately already emotionally disturbed. IMHO

I lost my grandma at the age of nearly 11 years. I did live with her. In my grown-up life, I always planted a gardenia in my garden. It reminds me of her. I also lost my Yorkie nearly 6 years ago. Every time I see a dragonfly I think of him. I always see one if I am down. We do have a swimming pool so yes do have dragonflies. If it is just a pacifier for me to make me feel better and not alone. But it does make me feel better. He used to love to swim. That's why I do get cross with Harry he is not the only person who lost someone. A mom or dad or both. We all have to deal with it and grow up and learn to live with it. Not all have a big family to fall back on. I can't stand him anymore.

re "seeking clarity": Harry and Meghan do use a lot of the exact same words and terminology. I imagine they both feel it is a good thing, and proves that they are twin souls. I suspect that one, or both, deliberately copy the other's phrases in order to strengthen their link with the other. What's more, neither of them would see this as being inauthentic. For example, I suspect Harry gave himself a crash course in feminism in his early days with Meghan, so he could impress her. (I dont think he had shown any interest at all in women's issues prior to that). Plus, allowing himself to "learn more" about women's rights from Meghan would have made him look very committed to their relationship, as well as signalling that he did not want to be a traditional, i.e. dominant, male partner. All very appealing for someone with a dominant streak like Meghan. In short, Harry is always willing to manipulate himself, even without Meghan's help. Re the psychic: I think Harry needs no encouragement from Meghan, or California or anyone else, to see psychic connections everywhere and be manipulated by others. It is well-known that Princess Diana visited her astrologer weekly (in total, 5 different astrologers over her life) and I have noticed that Harry seems to revere and copy every thing his mother did, without questioning it. He almost seems to hero-worship her, which I dont think is good for any child to do, particularly not in the case of a mother as troubled and full of contradictions as Diana. Relationships are neither black nor white, and until he can see the faults of both his father and his mother equally, and forgive them both equally, I think he will always be easily manipulated.

The behavior panel spoke about how limited Harry's vocabulary was in earlier videos. Most words were one syllable, with his two syllable words being from common usage, like mother. Because of his cognitive deficits, I don't think he's capable of understanding abstract concepts like clarity.

I’m a few months late to this but just wanted to say as usual you’re 100% spot on. Harry has been so easily & diabolically manipulated by certain women who are very close to him-one in particular. Sadly he’s not very bright nor very worldly, despite having traveled the world, and he was ripe for the picking by someone like his wife. He destroyed his entire life for one woman, and he will never get it back. He’ll never get those relationships back, he’ll never get all that love and support back. And worst of all, his poor children will never get the closeness & the love and support from the extended family that they should have because of his choice of wife and mother for his kids.

I agree 100% Shauna (Shawna?). I haven't read Harry's book but did read some of the snippets from his book interview in which he mentions this medium. I will have to paraphrase because I can't remember his exact words, but he said that he was told that Diana was with him, that she sent MM into his life, and that he is living the life Diana wanted for herself, and which she wants for him. After reading this my first thought was that everything 'Diana' had said seemed designed to keep him exactly where he was, geographically, mentally and emotionally, which was very convenient for MM. I also thought that if the real Diana had sent a woman into his life who would act as the catalyst for the destruction of all of Harry's relationships - from friends to family to her older son - and lead him to become isolated, bitter, using substances, ridiculed and disliked, then she was a pretty awful, rather sadistic mother. I had the same thought as you: he'd had a wobble and was unsure of his course of action. Along came 'Diana' to reassure him that he was where he should be. Call me an old cynic but I really wouldn't be surprised if a few phone calls and a sum of money hadn't passed between this medium and someone still very much on the earth plane.

Funny you should mention all this. I think one of the first things that hooked me into the MM and H debacle was because i saw an interview where she had crystals around and there was reference made to her doing 'reiki'. This infers that she is a reiki practitioner. I am a teacher of Reiki and I am aware that there are people who will study or 'do a course in reiki' and have dubious motivations, BUT a sincere practitioner in my experience would never do this long term coure of action against a person (it would be expected that they understand karma). I also studied social work after finding that when delivering psychic readings I was getting some really BIG Stories that i didn't feel comfortable responding to. I was also concerned about responsible practice to vulnerable people (for the reasons you say - exploitation of peoples suffering). I do feel that there is emotional manipulation, what concerns me is that H may believe that Lilibet is his mother reincarnate, and he will be experiencing cognitive dissonance.. his head telling him this is crazy but he feels he can't get out. There was a story in INdia of a whole family suiciding because of the insane ramblings of one of the adult daughters. The patriarch had died due to old age, and the daughter came through with 'channelled information' that the brother who would normally should be heir, should hand responsibility to his younger brother, and either way, she ended up dictating to the brother 'channeled messages' that included organising them all hanging themselves from teh rafters because "granpa will save us'. Obviously he didn't. What MM is doing (if we are correct) is absolutely morally diabolical but also potentially dangerous (and I'd be surprised if she didn't know that). Tip for all those people who have had bad readings or whatever.. never give the psychic the information, let them bring it to you. Rarely do they bring out the entire novel of your life but a good one can bring out a lot. I've also tested and taught psychics and mediums.. with integrity.. none of this romantic nonsense.

I've been to psychics and I've never heard one speak with such "clarity" of an event like the ornament breaking and archie grabbing a squirt bottle to help put it together. That seems way too specific but harry, being so easily manipulated, fell for it completely. This reminds me of a scene from Downton Abbey where Daisy wouldn't go see her father in law so Mrs Patmore got on the ouija board and the message was "Go to farm. Make dad happy". one of the other maids asks "is it usually so specific" and Mrs Obrien says "not usually no". But daisy being so naive believed it, just like Harry

About the broken ornament and the spray bottle: another KZbinr suggested that they possibly spray the dogs when displaying unwanted behavior. That could be the reason for Archie to spray the ornament that behaved in an unwanted way. I find this a very logical explanation.

I think your instinct is SPOT ON!. Harry was receptive to suggestions, being adrift & feeling unconnected to his main family. His brother was happily married with 2 lovely healthy children & what's Harry got? royal duties! He feels he's unloved & unappreciated! He always felt the only person who understood & appreciated him was his mother & she went & 'left him'! Emotional manipulation, gaslighting & isolating a person from family & friends & ultimately making the person feel completely dependent on the manipulator are typical behaviors of a narcissist in addition to the manipulator always needing to be the center of attention & exert complete & total control over the person being manipulated. This is done in a very covert & insidious way, over a period of time & the victim doesn't understand or realize what is happening because they are right in the middle of it. It doesn't mean the victim is not intelligent, has mental health issues or is weak in any way. I know b/c I lived it for 10+ years & didn't realize it. I am well educated, a CPA, held a high level job, raised a family, kept a perfect house & dealt with multiple life changing events & remained strong & never dropped the ball on any obligation. I'm not in that situation any longer tho the trauma still follows & haunts me. My prayers are with Harry.🙏🙏

Your commentaries are so insightful. I have not read this book. This is very interesting. It is a very concerning situation because of this. I have heard about other parts of the book that are a red flag. For example, I have heard that he compares himself to Jesus and Meghan to Mary. ( This unfolds a Messianic complex). Now in present and real time, Meghan and Harry are targeting Camilla. In his book, Harry said that there was a line of carnage along Camilla’s journey to the throne. I think Harry feels that Diana was among the carnage. Meghan is capitalizing on this. This is why she “channels” Diana. Meghan has weaponized this and other incendiary issues to propel her agenda. It’s Diana’s revenge. To quote their friend Elton John, “it’s a sad, sad situation and it’s getting more absurd.” It’s all very sinister. I appreciate your insight in discussing that part of the book. There is so much surrounding this couple that is disturbing. They are actually sinister. It is obvious that they are trying to destroy Harry’s family and the Monarchy. Can this be stopped? I wonder.

Hi Shauna, I think you’re spot on in your analysis. It is very strange with regards to the ‘psychic’ who may well have been fed information prior to Harry's session with her. Totally unethical. I haven’t read his book only excerpts from it. There’s a part where he describes seeing a tiger (or a lion) whilst he was in Africa and he felt that it was Diana. As you said, this type of experience (projecting the departed loved on onto an animal etc) is not uncommon. However, he had this experience during a time when he was convinced that Diana wasn’t dead: he felt that she was possibly in hiding. The situation with Meghan at Diana's grave is creepy to say the least: everything she does seems to be for effect with histrionics. Harry is besotted with her so he will be very defensive about any criticism of her. Only with time, and when the scales have fallen from his eyes, will he realise he’s under the influence of a mistress of manipulation par excellence.

M's posturing at Diana's gravesite was the biggest red flag ever for me.(The first huge one was also "What Meghan wants Meghan gets", of course.) I thought at the time that if he couldn't see that he was being played by her he must be a bigger fool than anyone could have thought. Of course as you say, he was very vulnerable and so easily manipulated. If you have never encountered a narcissist you don't realise just how manipulative they are.

Undoubtedly Harry has been completely emotionally manipulated. At the inception of their relationship, one can actually feel sorry for him. Lack of intelligence, incredible privilege and an emotional void that needs filling is a perfect combination for manipulation and exploitation. So many cringe stories are evident where he was blatantly being played. The Seal singer was one of the funniest. Someone like Prince William would have seen her coming a mile away. There are certain buzzwords that make a recurrent drop in Harrys' book and interviews. "Clarity", being one of them. I seriously, to this day, cannot understand how this woman managed to get to where she did, and to end up marrying the Queens' grandson and was not stopped. If only the Royal Family were able to speak. Thankyou, I look forward to your insights.
