IMO before Meghan, the games was about veterans. Created to help veterans. Now she’s here it’s the Meghan show, their pay packet and her rebranding. Meghan’s up speaking even though she didn’t ever serve. She’s wearing ridiculously priced clothing for an event that doesn’t involve her and shouldn’t be about her. Trevor coult on KZbin has said that Meghan and Harry received an appearance fee. Multimillionaires all involved in making money out of veterans. Why are millionaires taking an income? Why can’t they donate instead of taking? Because they are celebrities. Not Royals. The entire thing is a farce. Maybe the deal with Netflix means media outlets don’t get to see the veterans participating or their stories unless you pay a subscription? Maybe they are vetting to see how the public responds as to how they will allow people to see. To make money out of those that have made sacrifices to serve their country which has ended up costing these veterans more than these spoiled brats will ever know, is beyond disgusting!! The games were about veterans until Meghan was involved. These two are not well liked in Australia and it’s only these ridiculous, glorified fable story readers that don’t get it. Something that’s once started for the good of others has turned into something sickening! Sue Smith reports the clothing etc to be around 90k!! In front of people on fixed incomes!! First of all. It wasn't Harry's idea. It was taken from the US Warrior Ganes that had been around long before. It wasn't Harry's idea. The idea came from the royal PR people to smooth over his reputation after getting caught making multiple racist statements. Wearing a nazi uniform and for other nonsense. The games have been monetized by Harry and his wife. They are not doing it out of the goodness of their hearts they're doing for the sole purpose of making money. Everyone already knows this. Harry did build and implement the concept in Britain but developed it into a world wide organization and family of participants. Give credit where credit is due. Lastly, how on earth are the games bring monetized and exactly how are the Invictus Games a slap in the face??? Did you notice how many were there and the standing ovations they gave to Harry? Through Invictus, he gas brought their plight and needs into a much larger arena, thus getting more help and support for them. I commend him for taking this on and building it into what it has become, a wonderful network of help, family and advocacy. He made video for Invictus with his grandmother already n they were in very high spirits so the cameras or a crew aren't the trigger. It's photos and paparazzi that's the problem. He addressed the interview his mother gave as well as part of a documentary. He isn't against documentaries either. Apart from my own research I would not know a single name of the fantastic athletes taking part in the Invictus games. It is a scripted Harry and Meghan show. Even the kiss was part of a script. They are making a documentary for heavens sake. All for their own benefit and not self sacrifice. They are not Royals, no HRH, just celebrities. Thank you to the magnificent service men and women. I'm a strong Monarchy supporter as well, but sadly, it's been made clear Charles isn't stepping aside or abdicating, and it's not like his reign will be as long as The Queen's, he's already in his 70s, at most, his reign will be 10 - 20 years, yes, I know, long time, but he's waiting so long for his time, and EVERY Royal has had their controversies, yet the good things they've done before and after have overcome them, why does it have to be different for Harry and Meghan? And not just that, but Archie and Lilibet as well, it's gonna be hard and unfair for them to grow up away from their family and possibly get widely disrespected for their parents mistakes, unless the people's opinion of them changes... since like the "racist quotes" or the Nazi uniform thing Harry did in the past, many good things he did overcame them and people eventually either forgave or forgot about it, I certainly did... it was only about a year after marrying Meghan, maybe even before a whole year, that everything went downhill for him, and I think if they divorce, or something else forces her to stand aside, the monarchy can survive, much like many other royals ( besides Andrew ) Harry can apologize not only to his family, but to his country ( whether he does or not is still in the air ) but whether or not he's forgiven, or any better actions can make him forget, that's where it's the men and women of the country who decide, I just hope for the sake of monarchy and the ailing Queen, that they can pust their anger towards him aside especially since the Jubilee is only 6 1/2 weeks away...
