I think it certainly sends a message that if Harry is allowed back in after all he DIRECTLY attacked the monarchy, why shouldn’t Andrew be allowed back? What he did affected the RF by association, not directly. What Andrew did affected him and his family. Not all the RF. And of course what Andrew did was, in the end, only legally, accusation. There was never any hard proof. It was he said, she said. There was 1 photo of him with her and Maxwell, which they said was real and he said was fake. Even paying off the accuser is not legally considered guilt. Unlike Harry, whose proof of attack is everywhere. Unusually, I find myself completely disagreeing with Andrew Lownie, I don’t think the majority of British people will ever accept Harry back, in my opinion he wasn’t a cheeky little boy, he was a spoilt brat, and his actions have proved that he hasn’t changed. I think it’s also unfair to keep saying how Charles treated Diana, what about how she treated him! As for Fergie, I think Prince Philip had the measure of her! I just recalled that those extra 400 pages dropped from Spare are now “deleted” or “lost”, because H cleared out his hard drives, texts, etc and the judge was furious that it was tampering with evidence in his court case…it’s also why H couldn’t add a chapter to the paperback. 💜👵🇺🇲 mr lownie- i don't think harry resisted updates because it damaged his family and the monarchy- i think he and meghan were stunned senseless that it got massive negative responses. They expected passionate worldwide love and acclaim because they are sooo wonderful, great, heroic, saintly superstars- they never in a million years expected us (regular folk worldwide) to love and respect the royal family. We did not thrust harry and meghan upon our shoulders- and storm the castle- shouting harry and meghan for king and queen- they still to this day do not understand- and probably never will-

I'm afraid it won't work to have Harry back into the royal fold as some kind of a working royal. He is much less popular than you imagine, and everyone has now seen what he is truly like, and how much his behaviour has been covered up. I believe the better solution would be, for example, to buy him a farm to breed cattle, sheep, horses, and include him on family occasions.

Yes ---anyone under 60? I'm from the US so may be missing something there, but Harry is not particularly young. I don't see how he is any different then the current working Royals, if we're talking about bringing in 20 and early 30-year-olds. He's "balding Harry" as far as the youth are concerned. I was interested to hear from Mr Lownie but unfortunately I did not take to him. To me he came across rather arrogant and an intellectual snob. For a monarchist he did not seem to have a very high opinion of any of them. He also totally ignored the great work being done by Sophie and Edward. I really don’t believe that Harry would be welcomed back by the British public, he has shown us his true character and it isn’t very pleasant. M&H went to the Netherlands last year for a quick 'private' trip of some sort and expected to be greeted by the King & Queen and expected to stay with them. I honestly do not believe that people will accept Harry for a long, long time. Sarah and Andrew are still not forgiven or loved. They are tenuously accepted as long as they maintain a respectful distance. King Charles and Queen Camilla worked hard. They were diligent, respectful, loyal to the late Queen, the monarchy and the people. Prince William will do the intelligent responsible thing, but it will be using a very short leash. Meghan is done for. She is not the type of person to learn anything from her behaviour, or even want to try for any extended period.
