Back in the day, we couldn't WAIT for the Award Shows to come on. Many of us didnt have cable so we had the basic channels. We watched with huge anticipation of a fantastic show, ESPECIALLY when favs like MJ or Prince was performing. Those were the days when you talked about it the next day at school. I loved when they would accept an award and the crowd was going nuts and someone would yell out, " I love you" to the recipient. Anyway, things have def changed. Agreed. I think it’s the best. I just haven’t seen another with this classic line up and overall electricity that this one had. Plus it was fairly perfect with the studio version except one slight lyric mis cue. And the solo was just ripping good. Great tone and he was just on. When he kicked that mic stand over…gave me chills.
