Even on this clip there is Nsynch at the end featuring Justin Timberlake - trying to draw a false equivalence between a manufactured/producer lead pop band with "contractual discomfort" And a Once in a lifetime prolific Original Artiste seeking to own his original Master tapes and associated future income/ creative streams. Even after Princes 2007 grammy performance a clip of JT is shoehorned in at the end - as if he is somehow artistically fit to breathe the same air. JT is a Mickey Mouse club alumni who excels at cultural appropriation , synthesizing and monetizing musical influences - but he Ain't no Prince. My criticism is aimed at MTV and the Music Industry for trying to set the context for how we are meant to perceive people, rather than at JT for being ambitious and lacking humility. In response to JTs track " Bringing Sexy Back", Prince famously said " Sexy Never left"! Mike drop.
