It's the David Bowie Prince link First track Bowie Nite Flights my fav from the 90s Then Prince Dolphin also from the 90s 2 months before Prince passed one month after Bowie passed Prince did an acoustic rendition of the track Dolphin combined with Bowie's Heroes Accoustic On You Tube Enjoy

Hey just came to mind from the very early 80s this was they became a second rate U2 had their own sound I think this still stands up today Simple Minds I Travel. Also from that era The Police Invisible Sun yes Stings band and Japan European Son Giorgio Moroder remix As you can tell love music from all decades Nice to give someone the heads up on tracks from the past that you probably never came across There is a video out there with Japan who did their video in Japan And if you see the way the lead singer of Japan sounds so much like the lead singer of Roxy Music this is why I say Roxy were as influential as Bowie

And the lineage between this band and dance music Kraftwerk Numbers live Now there are dodgy stories about this guy but probably the first Hip Hop track 1982 Afrika Baambaata Renegades of Funk still a great track then we move to the 90s two of the best tracks from House era The Grid Figure Of Eight Tribal Trance Mix and track called San Fransisco band Punchenella

Being a bit self indulgent with my music on your channel but hopefully someone can hear a tune n go you know what that was effing great You must know Duran Duran their best song from the 80s although they were called Arcadia track Election Day go for the long version the hairstyles are hilarious Music wise sublime They still around now they playing this weekend at the Queen's Jubilee A Good band

Hey another artist you should review Grace Jones A true original Check out her Meltdown Festival in London with Massive Attack 2008 I think then there's the videos for My Jamaican Guy Demolition Man Pull Up To The Bumper Private Life cover of a Pretenders song and Corporate Criminal A true original still gigging at 74 years old Oh and a very early track La Vie En Rose sung in French a cover of an Edith Piaf song from the 40s 50s I think she was the first artist to cover a Joy Division song

Not really a fan of U2 but their album Zooropa was great Two tracks the best on the album title track Zooropa & Dirty Day there is also a duet on there with Johnny Cash from 93 I think not fussed about their 80s stuff but for about 5 years in the 99s some good songs
