Still listening to this legend in 2023 and he still brings joy. Even though I hear the same old jokes year on year, it still makes me chuckle. He never made fun of anyone - only of himself. And THAT is the key to true comedy!

Awesome video. Reminds me of my Mum and Dad. They would tell stories, when Prince Tui Teka would play at the Ellerslie Oaks Pub, in Auckland. Where my Parents both worked. His Charisma, Jokes, just Tui Tekas, Persona. Just a Lovely man, My Mum would say. A kind man, with a Big Heart. He touched alot of True Kiwi New Zealanders, with his Music, and His Lovely voice.

I was born in Rotarua but raised in Qld most of my life and my uncle Allen use to listen to prince all the time and told me we were related to prince tui tea and when I knew he passed away I actually wrote a letter on xmas eve to him and asked him to send me a barbie for Christmas lol don't know why I use to think he was my maori Santa Claus..i was 6years old..till this day I still remember his beautiful voice..thank you for the barbie hehe and the great memories I have of my uncle..xoxo

the late Billy t james used to do billy conolly type monologues about his time on the sydney club circuit with Tui and boy oh boy youd be rolling around laughing,preferably with empty bladder .Ive a 2cd set of tui&co in concert in my truck and on long trips it gets hammered!
