PRINCE asked ELLEN did she have any song particularly that she want to hear. She requested "Bambi" along with "Controversy".
@er97794 жыл бұрын
Could you tell me where you heard this, please? Right now I'm feeling pretty disappointed that he would go on the show of a lesbian and sing what is unarguably a homophobic song. I worship Prince (almost literally) but this song has always been disappointing. He was young. But to perform it on Ellen's show many decades later is slightly shocking. If you have info on her asking for it, please share.

FOR THOSE WHO THINK PRINCE WAS BEING INSENSITIVE.. This was a truly rare performance and a very good one.....Think people : 1. This song is a very obscure song off his second album, which only most true Prince fans know about, which she said she was and probably requested.. 2. Prince liked Ellen, so he wouldn't come on her show and try to offend her.. 3...Prince wasn't homophobic, in fact his extremely androgenous look prior to the Controversy and 1999 album had many questioning his sexuality, also, remember Wendy and Lisa were in a relationship while being in his band.. 4.. she definately heard the rehearsal and knew they were gonna play it.. she wouldv'e let it be known if she was offended beforehand...

Purple rain was the sixth album? Did you not like it? I will admit that after purple rain he got less consistent.
