It’s lovely to see the Shoes Princess Diana wore on her wedding day. Designed by Clyve Shilton. I worked for a company called H&M Rayne. Based in kings cross, London. My hubby and I met there in the early 80s. I was just 16 and I was Clyve’s sample model. But I was also one of two Heel coverers. My husband stitched the shoe’s before they were put on the lasts. We made Queen Elizabeth’s and Princess Diana’s (other Royals and Mrs Thatchers) shoes and bags. Clyve and Jean Matthew were our main designers. It was a wonderful place to work. Lovely Video 💜

The greatest royal we ever had. We loved her. Met her in liverpool uk late 80's. She was visiting a cathedral. Storm. Rain and she still came over while the crowd braved the weather. Visited Althorp twice and we drove to Kensington palace the day she passed and stayed for her funeral. A tribute to a woman who touched so many lives. A lovely thoughful woman. HRH THE PRINCESS OF WALES....Charlie didnt deserve her.. RIP...QUEEN OF PEOPLES ❤

I have a special place in my heart for Diana. I worked in London for a short time as an apprentice. I got to work along side some of the seamstresses who worked on Princess Diana’s dresses. I was gifted a piece of the fabric where one of her dresses was cut. I also met couture designer Bruce Oldfield. He one of Diana’s favorite designers. He was often seen with her. The Elvis dress I believe was designed by Catherine Walker. She passed away but her atelier still exist today.

Katie's absolutely right - it was the detail in the costumes, the displays and also the progressive narrative of Diana's life. They really have done a tremendous job with all the Royals featured. As always, you managed to make us feel we were right there, walking alongside you and Katie. Wonderful broadcast.

I remember her wedding day. I felt sad, she had no idea what she was in for. I felt sad for her. She thought she would be enough for her prince. She was set up to fail. He didn't love her. He just needed heirs. You can't help who you love, he married his true love and is very happy you can see it on his face in every picture of them. It's so sad how things were carried out. Diana deserved so much better. So did Charles. It is what it is.😢

Fantastic vlog! Ty for sharing! She was so loved and a people's princess, that's why she was! I LOVE that she wore the Klondike dress to the BBQ She let everyone know she was no fool, I never liked how the royals including the queen didn't like her. Of course he was with Camilla-swirled around for years, they had dated, way before, she was too old to have kids, and supposedly Camilla and Charles have a son in his late 50's or middle 60's "a love child" we'll prob never know, like all their secrets buried unless he steps forward...no one will never know! They say do good/great, Karma's always waiting for those who don't.....These days both him and Camilla aren't doing so well--I loved the exhibit, Tks again for sharing, wonderful. Diana will live on forever, when most will never be, she was true to herself. Tks again!! ;)

August 31st, 1997, was a tragic day. I watched the Royal Wedding July 1981 when I was in the 5th grade. My great aunt sent me the British commemorative postage stamp, and I began collecting Princess Diana stamps from all over the world. I got up at 1 AM to watch her funeral service live. I appreciate Ellton John's performance of Candle In the Wind. I hope this exhibit comes to a location near where I live. Thank you for this.

Watched her wedding with my British grandmother when I was 13, and my grandmother was dying of cancer. As a newly-married woman, I got up super-early to watch Diana’s funeral and cried my eyes out. I remember the night of her accident - I was waiting for Saturday Night Live to come on, when the network broke in with news of the accident. I called my mother, and she said, “That is a TERRIBLE joke and NOT funny!” I will never forget that event and the week that followed. Diana was amazing.

In my opinion, this is the best display of her wedding dress I have ever seen. I have been fortunate enough to have seen the dress in person a few times, the first when it was first showed at Kensington palace. It was on tour in the US many times, and to me the dress was ot displayed the way a wedding dress should be. It was limp as if a dude through it on a hangar. Oh, yeah . . . .the dress was managed by two men. They even had events where museum members could watch as they opened the crate the dress was in. When the crate was opened, the dress was on a form wrapped in fabric to protect it, but once it was pulled out and displayed, it was still squooshed as it was in the crate. Here, at this exibition it looks like a female who knew what she was doing properly fluffed the dress out. I wish I could get to this! Thanks for sharing!

I have been fascinated with Princess Diana since I first saw her wedding photo on the cover of a picture album my mother had. I was 8 years old. I thought she was so beautiful. I followed her life throughout my teens in the 90's right up until the night of her death being flashed across the TV screen. My mom & I both cried like babies. Flash forward from that August night in 97' to the afternoon of Jan 23, 2002.....My now husband & I were hit head on by a jacked up Toyota truck that ran over the top of us. I remember coming to after two weeks of being in a medically induced coma and being told I had survived an injury to my heart that Princess Diana didn't 😢 The doctor had brought a book in about Princess Diana for me to read (I still have that book) and after that I've read every book and interview of Diana. She truly was the people's Princess & she is not forgotten.

I was a HUGE fan of Diana's! I stayed up all night to watch her Wedding live on T.V. Recently a Grave Visitation type YT channel pointed out some interesting observations he made while visiting her alleged Grave at the Spencer Estate. The first thing he pointed out that everything there including her Memorial & Marker( along with ALL the signage), was made out of Hollywood set type cheap Particle board. There were zero Marble or Granite pieces connected with her at all. The other observations were that if indeed Diana were REALLY buried on that Island- the way its situated would 100% subject her Coffin/Body to the Water Table. He then went to the St. Mary Church at Brington where 20 generations of Spencers are buried. There he found one roped off section of Burials with 24 hr Surveillance Cameras all trained on just one thing. There is a Casket- sized cut in the floor there with no marker or writing. Its surrounded by Diana's deceased relatives all around the room. This particular YT channel has been to almost every one of these old Churches filled with generations of old Gentry & Royal families( but, not ONE of them has Security Cameras on the resting places, nor do not enter tape around certain sections). Honestly, I think that they would have discussed with Diana what her wishes were since she did say that she felt she would be targeted. I believe that all Royals are asked what their Funerary wishes are as this information needs to be known up front, (especially since most of them travel a lot). Its a "Win-Win" situation for her Brother who has a mini museum on the Althorp Estate as well as Diana's alleged "Grave." Great video!😊
