About the children who wrote to her "THere handwriting was dreadful." TO an old lady in a nursing home whop had made a beautiful rug which was bought by a nurse "You must have twisted her arm!" This is the REAL Diana, the bitch who would do spiteful things to her husband in public like poke his fountain pen in his face, and shove a large bouquet straight in his face when he went to smell it, or bang him in the face with her head when he went to kiss her. OMG! Thank you soooo much for this! Diana was magnificent, such natural beauty and charisma. She just had the "it factor". The cameras loved over her. Charles and Margaret were 2nd and 3rd fiddles which is why they eventually became so incredibly jealous of her tremendous fame. I feel so blessed to have grown up in her era. It's a shame that so many people will never know how wonderful she was.

This whole idea that the brain is mature at 25 arises from contemporary society trying to extend the limits of childhood and infantilize young adults. Maybe the prefrontal cortex is not at full capacity until sometime in post-adolescence, but it seems to be more of a male thing. Some studies say 21 for females, and as much as 29 for males. If we have to wait until 25 or 29 to be considered adults, that's very handicapping for society. Treat young adults like adults, expect accountability from them, give them responsibilities, rather than keeping them in an infantile state just because there's a tiny piece of cortex still not completed. That is how societies progressed in the past. Now, we live in a state of decadence because people are children for a whole quarter of a century. That's preposterous. I don't recall my brain being any less capable of judgement at 18 than at 34, when I made the worst decisions of my life. Maybe my cortex regressed at 34.

Through the looking glass, everything looks and feels so serene and sweet. Yet, the signs of trouble could not be more obvious. Charles seemed quite frosty towards his girlfriend even at the start. More comfortable chatting with the men, not interested in his ‘girlfriend’. It seems he did not like Diana much, something she clearly figured out quite quickly. The queen knew of course, but history and duty compelled her to push for the union between Charles and Diana. She needed heirs to the throne.
