Diana was known to call the paparazzi herself at times. So please don’t just blame the paparazzi. Also Diana chose to get into a car with a driver who had been drinking and did not wear her seatbelt. If she had her seatbelt on she would be with us today as the only survivor of the crash had his seatbelt on. It has been recorded that the first paparazzi on the scene that night arrived well over 5 minutes after it happened, so they were not being chased. The first person on scene was a doctor, but he misdiagnosed her and that is heartbreaking. I remember watching everything live and it was so shocking.

I still remember hearing the news, across the world in Seattle, Washington, USA, while playing chess with my dad and listening to the news with my mom and siblings. It was the only time I ever beat my dad at Chess, and I know that's because his mind was completely on the news at that point. Honestly, so was mine. I remember being upset for days at the news of your passing. Sad for your family, especially your sons, and sad for the countless lives you had touched, and continued to posthumously. You were taken far too soon, and you were truly beautiful, inside and out.
