Still some basterds say she was not stable. But the story is she was married to a man who loved another woman. A absolute scandal so almost criminal to leave such a young,good, and exelent woman on her own without love and to call her crazy. They killed her The future Queen Camilla.... How can this unjustice be ligalized... Hoe can Charles come on the throne with that as a moral example of Brittain.

Poor lady. She married a philanderer at the age of 19. Moved into a family where being herself was NEVER smiled upon. She was isolated and lonely, and still so young. A mother at the age of 20. Mother to a future KING, mind you. And they wondered why she had meltdowns??? That's too heavy a load for ANYONE, let alone an inexperienced young GIRL. Rest peacefully, Diana. It's so tragic that you never got the life you deserved.

I didn't know that Prince Charles was much older than Princess Diana when I first saw them because they looked the same age. Then I saw pictures of princess Diana when she was young and I was surprised at how young and beautiful she was, and the fact that she was 13 years younger than Prince Charles. When she married Charles, she looked withered and aging very fast even though she was still very beautiful. It seemed like her marriage to Charles drained her youth and made her get old very quickly.

@JKU109
@JKU109 3 жыл бұрын
@@rw3745 Meghan is a mature, self-confident, already divorced, almost 40 year old ex-actress, lived in front of cameras, enjoys limelight while Diana was a shy, 19-year old (HALF AGE as Meghan) and was very naive. Had a private life before her marriage, cameras were new to her and never liked it. Diana died at age 36, Meghan was older at her wedding day.. Diana was never loved by her husband. Very different situations, because Meghan knew what family got married into. Everyone knows, if you marry with a royal, you have to follow the rules and protocol and Meghan just didn't want to. She is American, she did what she wanted all her life and the new life was hard for her. As Harry said: What Meghan wants, Meghan gets. So yeah, she is not down to earth at all, and Diana was. Diana was the wife of the heir of throne, while Meghan's husband will never be a King, so for Diana there were always stricter rules which she had to follow, but Harry and Meghan always got more freedom. She cries because Archie is not a prince, for her title is so important, but Diana always said she wants to be a Queen of the Hearts, title doesn't matter (Meghan even lied Archie is not a prince dur to his race, but it a law, Princess Eugenie's baby is not a prince either, cause both August and Archie are the great grandsons of the Queen - so it could be quiet embarrassing for Meghan now, seeing that everyone found out quickly her lies and talking about how many times she lied in Oprah interview -. while Diana always told the truth). Charles and Diana got married by duty, but Harry and Meghan got married by love. Charles hurt and humiliated Diana, never loved or support her, while Harry and Meghan love each other, you can see that Meghan is the the dominant one in their relationship, she manipulates her husband. Diana lived in a Royal Family for 15 years and was sad when she was forced to divorce by the Queen because she didn't want to leave. She did all duties - royal or not royal duties with all of her heart and she would never leave her country. She wanted to see William as a King and she she said he will be a great King, unlike Charles (Now she will see him from the heaven :( ). Meghan was crying and complaining throughout her 1.5 years, stepped back from royal duties, moved to a different country and she turned her husband against his family, broke the Wales brothers strong relationship. Diana would be the saddest seeing the 2 most important people on her life, her 2 sons, not talking with each other as much as before - thanks to Ms Markle. I don't even know why they compare the 2 women, very different personalities and life.

I just binge watched the Crown. Even though the royal family denies the things in this show, I think much of it rings true. How Diana was treated after they were married was absolutely deplorable (on the show) so in this interview when she rolled her eyes after saying "they were very good to me when I was a guest" I understand why.

She was the opposite of her husband and his family, She was real and sensitive and she wasn't afraid to talk about her feelings.I didn't know about her family, The poor woman was always hurt by men.First her father and then her husnand. She's being truthful about the wrongs done to her. Often times we hide or gloss over the pain we go through out of stigma and fear of judgement and being forced to have to repress led to this flow of interviews and talk as if it were therapeutic for herself and others. Because often times people hurt people thinking there are no reprocussions. Diana gave them a reprocussion and consequence for the ways they treated her. But being honest about the way the world makes you feel makes u feel less alone and even others who suffer feel less alone. Which is why majority people love her because they can relate to her pain. Although it may be different, it's still pain that she fought through. She's resilient and if u want to say manipulative then maybe that too, but she's only telling us what has happened. If Charles and them didn't want her running her mouth about their transgressions then they shouldn't have committed them.

What a legacy. I am glad he got the tapes back. Poor Diana, so much to say about that interview , but that would have been very therapeutic for her. A husband who wasn't interested in her anymore , who under normal circumstances she should have been able to discuss thees3 things with. She needed someone and he was that listening ear , not judging her. He helped her to become stronger and prepared her to make it on her own! She had a privileged but horrible start to her young life, especially her mother leaving her/them. Not much wonder she felt vulnerable etc. But she became strong . She poured her heart out and was brutally honest and by the sound of it, she never expected that the tapes would be for public consumption. None of us are perfect and we shouldn't judge her either. She was a P of W but she was a human being who did not receive the love and care that she SHOULD have and expected to receive. Her husband gave that to his mistress instead. And what a calculated and callous thing for Charles to have done, telling her right before a public engagement , that her bodyguard had died the PREVIOUS evening. Nasty.

I appreciate that I get to see this Diana in this video. I think this is what she was really like. It feels like over the years there has been a move to portray her as the woman in that black dress that’s a manipulative type that controlled the narrative. Here I see a warm humorous likable woman. Maybe that’s why the original full vid of this that was on the UK channel 4 disappeared. She is not like this anywhere else. Also in comparison the BBC interview to me came across as cold, but that was well rehearsed. I think her legacy would have been really different if the Diana in this video had shown up. Thank you for this.

Growing up, I've always loved Diana. She was the first real princess I knew of and I was absolutely fascinated by her. She was beautiful, had such class and compassion, it was almost as if she was perfect. I remember being absolutely horrified when I learned how Princess Di was treated by her husband, the royal family and finally by the paparazzi. Later on, I learned that press and media plays a huge part in developing one's public image. Sometimes the portrayals are spot on but sometimes when the media is biased, facts get distorted. So I couldn't help but feel that the Perfect Princess Diana image might have been distorted too. On the surface, if a man is married to this young, absolutely beautiful, stunning, intelligent royal, why on earth would he run into the arms of another woman? One could say Charles and Camilla were in love and I would absolutely understand that. But with love and support most people can move on, unless of course they are obsessed. Again, on the surface if one compares Diana and Camilla, Diana comes out on top on every aspect. Any sensible person can see that. Now I'm absolutely not dragging Diana down, I love her, but I can't help wonder if there was a darker side to her that was all but invisible to public. I have heard Diana's side of the story, the royal narrative but I really want to know Charles side. I want to know if Charles didn't feel loved, if he was treated badly in private. I have read articles about Diana throwing tantrums, disrespecting his friends, emotionally blackmailing Charles and such. But these aren't verifiable sources. So I really wish Prince Charles would give an interview and discuss this subject. But being a sensible person myself, I know this is just wishful thinking.

Actually no not really, most older people from her generation grew up in similar homes, especially aristocracy. My grandparents and even my own parents who grew up in the colonies (not aristocracy) share similar experiences of growing up with neglect and emotional trauma. I think it had to do with the tone of parents and lifestyle queen Victoria set for her masses, and it's barely over 100 years ago so a lot of that trauma transitions through generations. However, given her capacity to care for others, to help others, and be so open about her hurt, I think it wasn't her baggage that caused her marital problems I think it was her age, lack of experience in dating, and 10000% marrying a heartless, selfish and immature man child who was raised spoilt. Had she married someone else she probably would have had a successful marriage, but also remember we all have relationship problems (big or small) and we all also come with baggage, so I hope you realize baggage doesn't affect your outcomes many other factors do.

It’s crazy how Diana predicted everything like William and Harry and giving so many interviews about her life. If feels like she knew something was gonna happen. I’ve grown to love this woman

5:50 in, that explains so much about how the Royals are treating Meghan all of a sudden, and Harry knows, the royals play book.

Well Meghan’s a horrible person. She was lucky to be brought upon the grounds at all. The wedding never should’ve been allowed to take place.

When Diana said ofcourse to the in love statement and Charles says whatever in love means is just so appalling and such a slap in the face to her 💔

She did not say "of course" to mean "of course" she said it like it is said to mean "no".That is when Charles tried to change the subject.He knew there was no love between them.Diana married Charles for fame and the big life".She was old enough and knew what she was doing.

absolute nonsense. Diana desperately wanted to be married and to have security. She also liked the idea of being Princess but she was naive, not very clever and far from mature. She did love Charles in her way. Charles was the one who wasn't sure if he cared deeply for her. @@p7y900s
